PIDGIN YOU SABI GOD?

Daniel 11:32 “Anybody wey ask am kweshon about di High Priest, e go kill-am.”

 

After our "Dwell" conference wey we do last weekend, and because of the talk wey keep dey come up say we must really sabi God, I feel say I need to rewrite this thing. So, make I ask you this very important question wey fit change your life:

You sabi God? You sabi your own God?

Plenty people no dey see God for all Him glory and power, because dem no sabi Him. Most people dey call God wey dem no even get relationship with, wey dem no know well. Many people dey enjoy God blessings like Ezekiel 20:44 talk even without knowing Him, because na God Himself dey do wetin Him promise for Hosea 2:20. To sabi God mean say you gree and believe Him word as true, because na Him word be the foundation of who He be.

You sabi the word, or you believe the word? Some people sabi the word but dem no really believe am, while some people no sabi am too much, but dem believe everything wey dem read for Bible.

To sabi your God, you must use your time, your heart, your sense, and your power to find Him word, as 2 Timothy 2:15 dey encourage us. You must stay with God, because na when you dey stay with Him naim you go come sabi Him well.

God na the God of true. As the Oga Creator of everything, God put true and righteousness in place, and you fit see dem for Him creation and for Him word according to Psalm 19.

The person wey sabi God no dey fear or dey shy. Dem no dey complain when things no dey go dem way. Dem no dey trust themselves, but dem know say dem get value for God eye wen Psalm 46:5 talk.

You sabi your God?

If we wan strong and do the great things wey God promise for Bible, we need to follow God well-well, so we go know wetin dey Him heart.

Plenty people dey think say dem sabi God (the Savior, the King of kings), but sadly, plenty of dem just sabi about God: dem just know some things about Him, but dem no sabi God Himself. Difference dey o.

So, make we ask this question again: 

You sabi God, or you just sabi about God?

Psalm 18:2-3 dey show us who God be. You dey see God as your Rock, your Fortress, your Savior, your Protector, your Shield, your Strength, and your Stronghold?

The Lord deserve your praise? Of course! He makes you, you get value, and Him love dey forever.

You no go put God and Him word for your heart, make e show for your life, just as He write your name for Him hand in Isaiah 49:16? God, because Him love you, don write your name for Him hand, so He go show the enemy say He no go forget you. How about you? Wetin you dey show the world say you love God and you no go forget Him?

You sabi God well enough to call Him Father according to Romans 8:15? 

You sabi Him well enough to call Him Judge wey dey do wetin right according to Psalm 7:11? Or Friend according to 1 Samuel 12:22?

Anything wey you dey think about God, make sure you sabi how much He love you and wetin He do for you as John 3:16 talk. You dey spend time with people wey you love, and you fit dey talk about dem all the time because you sabi dem well. Make you do the same thing with God - no just dey sabi about Him, but sabi Him well and know who your Father, God, and Friend be.

The power to do great things dey inside knowing your God, as Daniel and him friends show us. When you sabi God, you go strong and you go do great things.

PRAYER: Papa God, thank You for being everything to me. Help me to stay with You and grow for the knowledge of You as I continue to know You as my Savior, for Jesus name. Amen.
