It is happening already-you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there.   Happy New Year! Welcome to a brand-new year! God is doing something new in your life. The new year is not just about January—it can be a new beginning every day when we trust God! Many people make New Year’s resolutions—promises to do better. But sometimes those promises don’t last. That’s why we need God’s help! NOW THAT YOU ARE HERE!

Isaiah 43:18-19 TLB But forget all that-it is nothing compared to what I'm going to do! [19] For I'm going to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun! Don't you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert!   Happy new year! Welcome to the new year! God is doing a new thing: welcome to the much awaited and expected year of the Lord 2026. The year of covenant! Now that you are here, what next? The New Year always brings renewed hope, fresh starts, God’s faithfulness, and entering a new season under His Lordship, even though the Bible does not use the exact phrase “Happy New Year.” Unfortunately, we think January alone or the first three months is the new year. Why can’t it be a new year always? A lot of people start the year by making “new year’s resolutions,” things they intend to either do or don’t. Sadly, not many see this through. Some don’t even last until the end of January. We...

BEWARE OF MUDSLINGERS!

1 Chronicles 12:2 AMPC They were bowmen and could use the right hand or the left to sling stones or shoot arrows from the bow; they were of Saul's kinsmen of Benjamin.   If you’ve ever played with mud, you’ll know how hard it is to get it off. Once mud sticks, it’s stuck, and it certainly will do some damage. There are people whose passion is to sling mud at anyone and every situation regardless of whether they know you or not. The Bible tells us that mudslingers were frequently employed by Israel, from the time of the Judges into the divided kingdom. Mudslingers are those who: Slander (Psalm 101:5; Proverbs 10:18) False witness (Exodus 20:16) Backbiting (Romans 1:30) Reviling (1 Corinthians 6:10 Mudslingers, rumour mongers, and whatever name you want to call them, specialise in creating stories, whether true or false that do not miss their goal, the goal of tarnishing one’s name.
