I’M TOO BUSY!

Luke 10:36-42 TLB "Now which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the bandits' victim?" [37] The man replied, "The one who showed him some pity." Then Jesus said, "Yes, now go and do the same." [38] As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem they came to a village where a woman named Martha welcomed them into her home. [39] Her sister Mary sat on the floor, listening to Jesus as he talked. [40] But Martha was the jittery type and was worrying over the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, "Sir, doesn't it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me." [41] But the Lord said to her, "Martha, dear friend, you are so upset over all these details! [42] There is really only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it-and I won't take it away from her!"   “I’m busy! I’m too busy! I don’t have the time...

Luke 10:36-42 “Jesus kon ask di man wey e dey follow tok sey, “Among dis three men, wish one yu tink sey bi neighbour to di man wey tif attack?” 37Di man wey sabi di law well-well kon ansa, “Na di one wey kare for di man.” So, Jesus kon tell am, “Make yu go do di same tin too.” Jesus And Marta 38As Jesus and en disciples still dey travel, dem rish one village and one woman wey en name bi Marta kon welkom dem for en house. 39 Mary, wey bi Marta sista, sidan near Jesus leg dey listin to wetin e dey tish. 40But Marta nor happy, bikos of all di work wey e dey do, so e meet Jesus kon sey, “Oga God! Yu dey too wahala yorsef about many tins, 42na only one tin dey important and Mary don choose di korrect tin and nobody go fit take am from am.”   “I dey busy! I too busy! PIDGIN TAKE ME DEEPER, LORD!

Luke 5:4-5 “Wen e don tok finish, e kon tell Simon, “Push di kenu go where deep pass for di wota, make una for fit katch fish.” 5Simon ansa, “Oga God, wi dey here from nite till day break and wi nor katch anytin. But as yu tok, wi go trow awa net inside wota.”   You don ever ask yourself where you dey stand for Christ? You sabi your position? You dey okay to just dey play for the shallow side of Christianity, or you dey hungry to enter the deep side, where real blessing and power dey? Everybody dey start for shallow end when dem dey learn how to swim, because e dey safe—your leg fit touch ground, you fit hold edge, you dey your comfort zone. But if you just dey stay for shallow, you go miss the better thing wey dey for deep end. For spirit, many Christians just dey manage for surface, dey let others do the hard work of faith, dey miss the deep blessing and truth wey God prepare for people wey wan go far. But Jesus tell Peter, “Make you waka go deep water” (Luke 5:4). E de...

TAKE ME DEEPER, LORD!

Luke 5:4-5 TLB When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Now go out where it is deeper and let down your nets and you will catch a lot of fish!" [5] "Sir," Simon replied, "we worked hard all last night and didn't catch a thing. But if you say so, we'll try again."   Have you ever stopped to ask yourself where you truly stand in Christ? What is your spiritual position? Are you content staying in the shallow end of your faith, just paddling around in the basics of religion, or are you hungry for the deeper, richer experience of walking with God in spirit and truth? Just like learning to swim, everyone starts out in the shallow end. It feels safe because you can touch the bottom, stay close to the edge, and remain in your comfort zone. But staying too long in the shallow water means you miss out on the fullness and excitement that the deep end offers. Spiritually, many believers remain “shallow,” satisfied with surface-level Christiani...

LET GO AND LET GOD!

Proverbs 3:4-5 TLB If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself.   Letting go and letting God is a spiritual encouragement that means to release control, worries, or burdens and fully trust in God’s power, guidance, and provision. It emphasizes surrendering our efforts, fears, or plans and instead embrace God’s will and presence in our lives. Worry is a sin just like lying and stealing. Worry, as I always say is paying interest on borrowed troubles that may never happen. It’s like telling God that He’s not able to handle your situation, whatever it may be. But if we trust God with our salvation, why do we find it difficult to trust Him with our daily needs? We must have faith in God and not in our thinking or reasoning and understanding. People who think through everything have difficulty with faith because reasoning is not faith, and without faith, it’s impossible t...

Proverbs 3:5-6 “ Make yu always dey trust God with all yor heart, but nor trust wetin yu tink sey yu know.  6 Always dey remember God kommand for anytin wey yu dey do,  den E go show yu di korrect way. .   To let go and let God mean say make you leave control, worry, and all your burden, then trust God fully to handle everything for your life. E mean say you go stop to dey struggle by yourself, stop to dey fear or dey hold onto your own plan, and instead you go allow God take over and do wetin e best for you. Worry na sin just like lie and tiff. Worry na like say you dey pay interest on wahala wey never even happen. E dey show say you no believe say God fit handle your matter. But if you fit trust God for your salvation, why e dey hard to trust am for your daily need? We suppose get faith for God, no be for our own sense or how we dey reason things. People wey dey always use their head to reason everything dey find am hard to get faith, and Bible talk say without ...

CRITERIA OF SERVICE!

Genesis 24:1-27 NASB Now Abraham was old, advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in every way. [2] Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household who was in charge of all that he owned, “Please place your hand under my thigh, [3] and I will make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live; [4] but you will go to my country and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son Isaac.” [5] The servant said to him, “Suppose the woman is not willing to follow me to this land; should I take your son back to the land from where you came?” [6] Then Abraham said to him, “Beware that you do not take my son back there! [7] The Lord, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house and from the land of my birth, and who spoke to me and who swore to me, saying, ‘To your descendants I will give this land’—He will send His angel ahead of you, and you will take a ...

CHANGE OF GARMENT!

Genesis 35:2 AMPC Then Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, Put away the [images of] strange gods that are among you, and purify yourselves and change [into fresh] garments;   Nudity is not acceptable in any society. We all require covering up even in the comfort of our homes but a select few have opted to live without clothes within the confines of their community: the Nudist colony or society, they live in their commune completely naked, not even underwear, as naked as they were born. That is their choice, and they have created an environment to support their need. But for those of us who still cover up, we change clothes daily, we dress up as the season and weather permits, we wear professional or occupational clothing, even some religious groups have their special garment. We all came into the world with the filthy garment of sin, Adam and Eve’s nakedness and ours awakens the consciousness of morality, but God offers to change our filthy garments,...

PIDGIN CHANGE OF GARMENT!

Genesis 35:2 “So Jakob tell en hold family and doz wey dey with am sey, “Make una skata all di oda gods wey dey with una. Make una go wosh unasef kon shange una klot.   For society wey we dey, nakedness no dey acceptable. Everybody dey wear cloth—even for house. But some people wey dey live for nudist colony don choose to waka naked anyhow. Na their choice be that, and dem don build environment wey fit support am. But for most of us wey dey wear cloth, we dey change am every day. We dey dress according to weather, work, or even religion. But make we reason am well—everybody born come this world with cloth of sin. Adam and Eve nakedness show say dem don sabi wetin be wrong and right. But God wan give us better cloth—cloth of righteousness. Zechariah 3:3–4 talk say Joshua wear dirty cloth stand for front of Angel. The Angel come command make dem remove the dirty cloth and wear better one. That dirty cloth na symbol of sin, and the new cloth na sign say God don change person f...

CONSULT THE WORD OF GOD!

2 Timothy 3:15-17 NASB and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; [17] so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.   Consultation is a necessity in life, in certain quarters, we can’t get any sort of services without consultation with experts. Consultation is the action or process of formally consulting or discussing: a dialogue or conference meeting with an expert, such as a medical doctor, to seek advice. Times are uncertain and chaotic and the world as we know it, is turned upside down, the major weapon of the enemy now is fear, but glory to God, we’re not of them that fear because the Lord is our Refuge and Rock. According to 2 Timothy 1:7, we have the grace to overcome fear with love. W...
