THE REVEALER OF SECRETS!

Daniel 2:46-47 TLB Then Nebuchadnezzar fell to the ground before Daniel and worshiped him and commanded his people to offer sacrifices and burn sweet incense before him. [47] "Truly, O Daniel," the king said, "your God is the God of gods, Ruler of kings, the Revealer of mysteries, because he has told you this secret."   Everybody have secrets, or what they consider to be secrets, but there are no secrets in the universe, nor should there be such. Sin alone has secrets, virtue has none. With God, all is as open as the day, nothing is hidden before Him according to Hebrews 4:13. God is the revealer of secrets, the Great One who reveals hidden things or secrets. Ironically, it was King Nebuchadnezzar who alluded to God as the Revealer of secrets, as a polytheist, he was probably just highlighting and adding one more god to the already many gods of Babylon, but Nebuchadnezzar, in awe of having his unmentioned dream revealed by "the God Israel", offered thanksg...

PIDGIN THE REVEALER OF SECRETS!

Daniel 2:46-47   “Den King Nebukadnezzar bow face groun kon sey make dem sakrifice and offa ofrin for Daniel. 47Di king sey, “Na yor God big pass among all gods! Na-im bi God of all kings and E dey show pipol wetin dey sekret and na-im make yu fit tok all dis tins so!”   Everybody get secret, or wetin dem think say na secret, but for this universe, secret no really dey, and e no suppose dey sef. Sin na im dey hide, but better life (virtue) no get anything to hide. For God side, everything open like afternoon sun, nothing hide for im front as Hebrews 4:13 talk am. God na the Revealer of secrets, the Mighty God wey dey show hidden things and secret matter.  Na King Nebuchadnezzar first call God “the Revealer of secrets.” As he be man wey dey worship many gods (polytheist), e fit just dey add Jehovah join the plenty Babylon gods wey dem already get. But Nebuchadnezzar, as him shock say this “God of Israel” fit reveal dream wey he no even talk give anybody, he come bo...

CHILD-FRIENDLY THE REVEALER OF SECRETS!

Daniel 2:46-47 GNT Then King Nebuchadnezzar bowed to the ground and gave orders for sacrifices and offerings to be made to Daniel. [47] The king said, "Your God is the greatest of all gods, the Lord over kings, and the one who reveals mysteries. I know this because you have been able to explain this mystery."   Everyone has secrets, right? But did you know that nothing is really hidden from God? The Bible says in Hebrews 4:13 that everything is open before Him. God knows everything and sees everything! He is the Revealer of Secrets—the One who shows us things that are hidden. A long time ago, King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream he couldn’t remember. He asked his wise men to tell him the dream and its meaning, but they couldn’t. Then Daniel prayed to God, and God told him the dream and what it meant! The king was amazed and said, “Wow! Daniel’s God is the Revealer of Secrets!” (Daniel 2:46-47). Daniel trusted God completely. He didn’t panic or give up. He prayed and beli...

PIDGIN REJECTION!

Isaya 53:1-5   '“Na who go bilive di message wey wi dey hear naw? Na who don si God hand for dis matter before? My savant grow like seed wey dem plant for dry groun. E nor even get beauti or respet wey go make us notis am. Pipol rijet am and dem nor like am at-all. E bear sofa and pain well-well. Nobody even sorry am and wi trit am like sey e nor mean anytin. But E bear di sofa and pain wey suppose bi awa own. But wi tink sey en sofa na di ponishment wey God gi-am. But dem wound am bikos of awa sin; dem beat am bikos of di bad tins wey wi do. Na di ponishment wey e sofa give us peace and en wounds don make us well. '     Many of us dey experience painful and heavy rejection for our lives. Sometimes, people wey suppose love us no want us, or dem no accept us, or dem push us away from where we suppose stay.  Rejection fit make person fear. People dey reject people everyday and e dey cause plenty pain. Since we dey reject others sometimes and people also dey rej...

REJECTION!

Isaiah 53:1-5 TLB But, oh, how few believe it! Who will listen? To whom will God reveal his saving power? [2] In God's eyes he was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want him. [3] We despised him and rejected him-a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we didn't care. [4] Yet it was our grief he bore, our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, for his own sins! [5] But he was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; he was lashed-and we were healed!   Many of us experience painful, traumatic rejections at some point in our lives. We may have been discarded, unwanted, and unaccepted by those who should have embraced us, or cast away from where we rightfully belong. Alienation, isola...

CHILD FRIENDLY REJECTION!

Isaiah 53:3 (ICB) "He was hated and rejected by people. He had much pain and suffering. People would not even look at him. He was hated, and we didn’t even notice him."   Jesus Understands Rejection Have you ever felt left out, unwanted, or like no one cared? That’s called rejection, and it can really hurt. But guess what? Jesus understands how that feels—because He was rejected too. The Bible says people didn’t accept Jesus. They didn’t believe in Him or love Him. But He still loved them—and He still loves you. Sometimes people reject others by not including them, saying mean things, or ignoring them. But that doesn’t mean you’re not special. God never rejects you. He loves you just the way you are. When we feel rejected, we might try to be perfect or do lots of things to make people like us. But we don’t have to do that with God. He already loves us—no matter what. Jesus was rejected so that we could be accepted by God. You are chosen, loved, and important to ...

REHOBOTH!

Genesis 26:1-25 TLB Now a severe famine overshadowed the land, as had happened before, in Abraham's time, and so Isaac moved to the city of Gerar where Abimelech, king of the Philistines, lived. [2] Jehovah appeared to him there and told him, "Don't go to Egypt. [3] Do as I say and stay here in this land. If you do, I will be with you and bless you, and I will give all this land to you and to your descendants, just as I promised Abraham your father. [4] And I will cause your descendants to become as numerous as the stars! And I will give them all of these lands; and they shall be a blessing to all the nations of the earth. [5] I will do this because Abraham obeyed my commandments and laws." [6] So Isaac stayed in Gerar. [7] And when the men there asked him about Rebekah, he said, "She is my sister!" For he feared for his life if he told them she was his wife; he was afraid they would kill him to get her, for she was very attractive. [8] But sometime later,...
