CHILD-FRIENDLY FRINGE BENEFIT!

Memory Verse: “Since God did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won’t He also give us everything else?”— Romans 8:32

What Is a Fringe Benefit?

A fringe benefit is like a bonus gift—something extra you get just for being part of something special.

At school, it might be a fun trip for good behaviour. At home, it might be a treat for helping out.

With God, it means the extra blessings He gives us just because we love and follow Him!

What Does the Bible Say?

God gave us the greatest gift ever—His Son, Jesus.

And because He gave us Jesus, we can trust that He will also give us everything else we need—like peace, joy, help, and strength.

Bible Examples of Fringe Benefits

- Solomon asked for wisdom, and God gave him riches and honour too! (1 Kings 3:5–14)

- Job stayed faithful, and God gave him double blessings after his hard times. (Job 42:10–17)

- Ruth followed Naomi and trusted God, and she got a new family and a place in Jesus’ story! (Ruth 2:11–12)

- The Israelites obeyed God, and He promised to be their healer and protector. (Exodus 15:26)

What Can We Learn?

- God gives us more than we ask for because He loves us.

- These extra blessings are not because we earn them, but because God is kind and generous.

- We should always be thankful and use our blessings to help others too!
