CHILD-FRIENDLY GOD GIVES LIFE!

Memory Verse: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13

Did you know that God made you special and knows everything about you—even before you were born? That’s what the Bible says in Psalm 139. Your life is a gift from God, and He has a plan for every day you live.

Sometimes, people go through very hard times—like being very sick or feeling very sad—and they might think about ending their life early. But the Bible teaches us that life and death belong to God, not us.

What Is Euthanasia?

Euthanasia is when someone chooses to end a life early—either their own or someone else’s—because they are suffering. Some people call it “mercy killing” or “assisted dying.” But the Bible says in Exodus 20:13, “You shall not kill.”

Even when life is hard, God is still in control. He knows when we are hurting, and He promises to be with us through every moment.

What Can We Learn?

- Life is precious because God made it.

- Only God has the right to decide when life should end.

- Even in pain, we can trust God to help us.

- Jesus gave His life so we could have eternal life—so we should never give up on the life He gave us.

This verse reminds us that God made us with love and care, and He knows everything about us.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

1. Why do you think life is so special to God?

2. What would you say to someone who feels very sad or hopeless?

3. How can we help people who are hurting or sick?

4. Do you believe God is with us even when we’re going through hard times?

PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for the life You gave me. Help me to always remember that I am special and loved by You. Please help anyone who is feeling sad or sick to know that You are with them. Give them hope, peace, and strength. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Shalom
