PIDGIN THE VOLUME OF THE BOOK!

Psalm 40:7 “Den I sey, “Look, I don kom, just as dem rite about mi for yor Book sey”

E get deep comfort to know say God no just dey watch your life—na Him dey write am. Every chapter, whether na one wey people dey celebrate or one wey pain you, whether e loud or e quiet, God hand dey inside am intentionally. Nothing for your journey be mistake. Nothing waste. Nothing be extra. Every line dey written with wisdom, mercy, and love wey see far pass wetin you fit see.

David understand this truth well well. For Psalm 40, e talk about God wey no dey abandon Him people for pit or leave dem for despair. Instead, David describe God wey bend down, hear Him pikin cry, carry am comot from muddy place, set him leg for solid ground, and put new song for him mouth. David rescue no be something wey just happen by chance. Na part of di story wey God don already write. Him deliverance no surprise heaven—it don already dey planned as one chapter.

But Psalm 40:7 get full meaning for Jesus. Hebrews 10:7 show Christ as e enter time, e know Him assignment clearly: “See, I don come—in di volume of di book dem don write about Me—to do Your will, O God.” Jesus live with confidence say Him life align with wetin heaven don write. Him obedience no random; na intentional. Him sacrifice no be something wey dem arrange later; dem don already talk am before. And through Him obedience, di greatest chapter of redemption write for us.

This same truth dey rest on your life. Ephesians 2:10 talk say you be God workmanship—Him poem, Him masterpiece—wey Him create for good works wey Him prepare before you even born. Your story no dey happen by chance. God don write di pages of your life with purpose before you live them. Him don already prepare chapters of mercy, restoration, impact, and transformation. Even di parts wey confuse you or never complete dey safe for Him hand.

Some chapters full of joy—bright pages where everything align.

Some chapters dey stretch you—where God dey enlarge your capacity and deepen your trust.

Some chapters dey heal you—where God dey gently rewrite wetin pain try define before.

Some chapters still dey write—where you never see di end, but God already dey there.

And through everything, di Author still dey faithful.

Your calling no be to rewrite your story because of fear or comparison. Your calling na to walk faithfully inside di story wey God write for you. To talk like Jesus: “I come to do Your will.” To trust like David say God dey lift you, steady you, and give you new song even when di page wey you dey feel dark or unclear.

When you understand say God be di Author, you go stop to panic when story twist.

You go stop to complain about slow chapters.

You go stop to compare your life with another person own.

You go stop to rush go front or erase wetin God wan redeem.

Instead, you go begin waka with confidence. You go begin read your life with hope. You go begin trust say God wey dey write your story no fit make mistake. You go begin believe say even di chapters wey you no go choose, God dey use them create something meaningful and beautiful.

Your story sacred because di Author holy.

Your story get meaning because di Author intentional.

Your story safe because di Author full of mercy.

So waka boldly. Waka in obedience. Waka with expectation. Di pages wey dey ahead full of divine thoughtfulness. God never finish writing, and Him dey write with pen wey dip inside grace.
