CHILD-FRIENDLY IT IS SETTLED!

Psalm 119:89 GNT

Your word, O LORD, will last forever; it is eternal in heaven.

 

When someone uses a gavel in a courtroom, it means the case is finished. Once the judge hits the block, nobody can argue again. The decision is final. The person holding the gavel has the power to close the matter.

In the same way, God holds the gavel in heaven. Before you were born, before you took your first breath, before you faced any problem, God already decided your life. He already said, “It is settled.” Isaiah 25:1 tells us that God made His plans long ago, and they are always true. Everything about you was settled in heaven before it showed up on earth.

Psalm 119:89 says, “Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.” 

Forever means always. 

Not sometimes. 

Not maybe. 

Not only when things look good. 

Always.

So, what has God settled?

Your healing is settled — Jesus already paid for it (Isaiah 53:5). 

Your blessings are settled — God will bless the work of your hands (Psalm 128:2–3). 

Your success and well‑being are settled — God wants you to prosper (3 John 1:2). 

Your future is settled — God has good plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

Even though God has settled everything, He sometimes allows us to go through challenges. Not to hurt us, but to make us stronger and ready for His blessings. He wants us to believe what He has already said instead of giving up.

No matter what you face, God will not let it be more than you can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13). He already prepared a way out. His word cannot fail.

So if you are waiting for something — healing, help, answers, or a miracle — remember this: 

God has already settled it. 

Heaven has spoken. 

The case is closed. 

It is settled.
