PRINCIPLES OF THE KINGDOM

Matthew 6:33 AMPC

But seek ( aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ( His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.


Every kingdom matter work with a principle and applying these principles can help us experience victories, breakthroughs and success in various areas of our lives. 

The great principle of God’s kingdom is our text. Seek God first! Seeking God’s face and presence is the ultimate high for breakthroughs and victories. 

The bible as we’ve established is a God-given manual from the Lord for us to navigate life easily, smoothly and victoriously if we obey Him. 

We must seek God in prayer: Make prayer a daily habit. Set aside specific times each day to pray and seek God’s guidance. Remember Jeremiah 33:3, which encourages us to call upon God for answers and revelations. When we seek God, we call on Him and in doing so, we receive the revelation needed for the next move.

Seeking God means obeying His every word that produces blessings according to Deuteronomy 28 and Isaiah 1:19.

To seek God, means being like the widow in Luke 18, we must stay Persistent in all our endeavours: Understand that breakthroughs often come after persistent effort and faith. Even when situations seem unchanged, continue to trust and wait on the Lord, as mentioned in Psalm 30:5b.

Never take anything for granted and learn to recognize and seize opportunities: Be attentive to the doors of opportunity that God opens for you. These might come in the form of new job offers, relationships, or unexpected blessings. Embrace these opportunities with gratitude and readiness to act.

As stated in Revelations 12:11, we are overcomers and so, we overcome Adversities by the power of the Blood of the Lamb. Challenges and adversaries will come, and we must expect them, but don’t let them deter you. Use these obstacles as stepping stones to strengthen your faith and resolve. Remember that greater is the Holy Spirit within you than any adversity in the world according to 1 John 4:4.

Operate the principle of ASK as stated in Matthew 7:7. Ask for What You Need: Don’t hesitate to ask God for what you need. James 4:2 reminds us that we often miss out on blessings because we do not ask. Be specific in your prayers and trust that God hears you.

Look back, reflect on and rejoice in past breakthroughs: Look back on times when God has delivered you from difficult situations. This reflection can strengthen your faith and remind you of God’s power and faithfulness.

Stay in the Word: Regularly read and meditate on the Bible. Scriptures like Colossians 1:13 and 1 Corinthians 16:9 can provide encouragement and insight into God’s promises and plans for your life.

Fit yourself among other believers. Join a Faith Community: Surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can pray with you, encourage, and help you stay focused on your spiritual journey.

Positive Attitude and gratitude are key to victory and breakthrough. Keep a hopeful and positive outlook, even in tough times. Trust that God is working behind the scenes for your good and that your breakthrough is on the way.

Celebrate with those celebrating their victories and breakthrough as stated in Romans 12:15, remember in prayers who are also seeking breakthroughs. This not only helps them but also strengthens your own faith and sense of community.

Above all, as instructed in Galatians 6:9, do not faint, “be relaxed.”  Don’t be weary of well-doing, your time for breakthrough, victory and triumph is around the bend. 

PRAYER: Lord, help me to remain strong in actively waiting and following the principle of the kingdom until my breakthrough is fulfilled in Jesus’ name, amen.
