1 Corinthians 14:40: “But make una dey do tins as e suppose to bi.”

 

To check your schedule mean say you go look your calendar, planner, or diary to see wetin you get planned—meetings, appointments, or things you suppose do. People dey use am when: Somebody wan know if you free for one time.  You dey plan something and you no want make things clash. You wan remind yourself about wetin dey come. For examples: “Fit check your schedule make you see if you free for Friday?” or “I need check my schedule before I fit agree for that meeting.” Schedule or timetable na tool wey help us manage time. E be list of times wey things suppose happen or the order wey dem suppose happen.

If you check your schedule, you fit see say e don plan for month or year ahead—everything dey inside from sleep time to holidays. But often, the most important thing dey miss—the time wey you spend with the Lord.

Bible talk say make everything dey done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40). Everything for life and for our Christian walk suppose dey done with respect and seriousness, because our soul matter.

Psalm 29:2 talk say make we give God the glory wey Him name deserve. God name be Mercy; Him nature na love. Make we give am mercy, love, power, and wisdom.

You don put time for God for your schedule? 

- You get fixed time to worship, pray, and study Bible? 

- You dey organize your time with God like you dey do for other important things? 

- You dey put worship, prayer, study, offering, and evangelism for their correct time?

Make everything dey done decently and in order—this one concern everything for our faith and life. How many wahala and confusion we fit avoid if we schedule time for spiritual things wey go benefit us forever?

Everything for life—business, family, work—dey run on schedule. Imagine if train or machine no follow schedule—chaos go happen. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 talk say everything get time, and no area for life fit work well without planning. This one true for our spiritual life too.

David talk for Psalm 5:3 say e dey call God morning morning, just like Lamentations 3:22-23 talk say God mercy dey new every morning. God don put you for Him plan—why you no put am for your plan?

How you go fit look God well if you no get time to dey with am? Moses spend time with God for Exodus 34:29, and Psalm 34:5 talk say your face go shine when you spend time with God.

Plenty people schedule full with lunch meetings, gym, beauty appointments, holidays—but no time for spiritual things.

We dey make schedule to work well and get promotion, but sometimes plan no go well. But Proverbs 16:3 talk say if we commit our work to God and follow Him, He go make our plan succeed.

Our faith go strong when we spend time for Bible study, prayer, and worship. When we worship God in the beauty of Him holiness for Psalm 29:2, His beauty go become ours.

Check your schedule. Make time for wetin really matter.

PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for the gift of time and the chance wey each day bring. Help me use my time well and plan with purpose, so I fit focus on wetin really matter. Give me courage to say yes with intention and no with grace, for Jesus name. Amen.
