PIDGIN POSITIONED FOR GOD’S PURPOSE!

14Deborah tell Barak, “Make yu ready, bikos God dey lead yu and today E go give yu viktory ova Sisera.” So Barak kom down from Mount Tabor with en 10,000 men. 15Wen Barak attack, God kon konfuse Sisera and en men. Sisera kom down from en war horse kon take leg dey run. 16But Barak porshu di war horse and Sisera men go Haroshet-Haggoyim kon kill all of dem for der.

17By dat time, Sisera run go meet Jael wey bi Herber from Kenite, wife. Bikos King Jabin for Hazor and Herber family na friends.

18Jael go outside go meet Sisera kon tell am, “My oga! Make yu kom inside my house. Make yu nor fear at-all.” So Sisera go inside, den di woman hide am kon take blanket kover am.

19Sisera tell am, “Abeg, make yu give mi wota drink, bikos my trot don dry.” So di woman gi-am milk from one leda bag, den kon kover am again.

20Den Sisera tell di woman, “Make yu stand for di door and if anybody kom ask yu weda pesin dey here, make yu sey no.”

21But as Sisera dey sleep, bikos e don taya well-well, Jael kon take hammer and nail waka small-small go near am kon nail en head from di korna join groun, so Sisera kon die.

22Wen Barak find Sisera rish der, Jael tell am, “Make yu kom si di man wey yu dey find.” So Barak follow di woman enter di tent and e kon si sey Sisera don die, bikos di woman nail en head join groun.

 

You sabi where you dey at all? You don stand well for where God want use you? To stand gidigba for God purpose mean say God don put you for one place like dat, make you dey ready to do wetin correct when chance show face. Na to dey "cunningly placed," no be by your own plan alone, but by how Holy Spirit dey lead you, wey dey prepare you to grab the chance wey God give.

Many of us dey hanker to do big things for God, but many times we dey miss the small small chance wey God dey arrange put for our front. We no dey see dem because our mind no dey dia or we no even know say dem dey. But God time na the best, and where he put you get meaning.

Think about the story of Jael, Heber wife. Heber na Kenite man, from one tribe wey close to the Midianites. He come be friend to Jabin, wey be Israel enemy. But for inside that kain mixed-up loyalty and politics, God put Jael for one special position. Even though say her husband side dey with enemy, Jael heart follow God side.

How many times relationships dey test our loyalty? How many times we dey find ourself for middle of friends, family, or situations wey dey challenge how we dey serve God? Jael story dey remind us say God plans pass human plans. She choose to stand with God people, even when that one mean to go against wetin everybody around her dey do.

When Sisera, the oga for Jabin army, run from the Israel people wey win the fight, he run go hide for Jael tent, because he think say he safe dia because of her husband friendship with am. But Jael, wey God give strong heart and sense, welcome am well, but she just dey wait for time to do wetin go bring win for Israel (Judges 4:16–21).

Wetin she do no be just strong head; na she dey obey God plan. Jael dey sharp, she dey ready. She sabi the time God give her, and she use faith and strong heart grab am. Wetin she do show say God fit use anybody – man or woman, for any position – to do wetin he want.

My people, God dey call all of us to be like Jael: make we dey watchful, ready, and dey willing to do wetin he want when he move. Isaiah 6:8 dey ring for our ear, “Who I go send? And who go go for us?” You go answer this call? You go talk say, “God, here I dey. Use me where I dey, as I dey”?

The enemy dey waka waka, dey find who to thief from, kill, and destroy the plans wey God get for us. But if we hold God word tight and we allow Holy Spirit lead us, we go stand strong and we go give the enemy serious blow. We must dey spiritual sharp, make we dey know the time, and make we get strong heart to answer when God call.

Remember, where you dey no be accident. God put you dia for one reason. Trust am to guide you, give you power to do wetin you suppose do, and make him plan happen through you.

PRAYER: Papa God wey dey heaven, I thank you say you put me where I dey. Help me make I dey sharp and get strong heart, make I dey ready to serve your purpose with sense and strong heart. Make you give me power to stand against enemy and to follow your will. Make my life bring glory to your name as I dey do the work wey you give me. For Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
