PIDGIN TAKE ME DEEPER, LORD!

Luke 5:4-5 “Wen e don tok finish, e kon tell Simon, “Push di kenu go where deep pass for di wota, make una for fit katch fish.”

5Simon ansa, “Oga God, wi dey here from nite till day break and wi nor katch anytin. But as yu tok, wi go trow awa net inside wota.”

 

You don ever ask yourself where you dey stand for Christ? You sabi your position? You dey okay to just dey play for the shallow side of Christianity, or you dey hungry to enter the deep side, where real blessing and power dey?

Everybody dey start for shallow end when dem dey learn how to swim, because e dey safe—your leg fit touch ground, you fit hold edge, you dey your comfort zone. But if you just dey stay for shallow, you go miss the better thing wey dey for deep end. For spirit, many Christians just dey manage for surface, dey let others do the hard work of faith, dey miss the deep blessing and truth wey God prepare for people wey wan go far.

But Jesus tell Peter, “Make you waka go deep water” (Luke 5:4). E dey tell us too—make we commot from where e dey easy, make we trust am as e dey carry us enter deep water, where our leg no go fit touch ground again, where na only God we go depend on.

-Na for deep water real spiritual growth dey happen. 

  Paul talk say people wey never ready for strong food still dey drink milk (1 Corinthians 3:2). If you just dey for shallow, you no go fit understand or enjoy everything wey God get for you.

-God dey show Him secret for deep place. 

  1 Corinthians 2:10 talk say “The Spirit dey search all things, even the deep things of God.” Some blessing and truth you no go see am until you allow Holy Spirit carry you go deep.

-Na for deep you go sabi the full love of God. 

  Ephesians 3:18-19 talk say make we know the length, breadth, depth, and height of Christ love, and make we full with all God get. To get this, you must leave shallow side.

-To go deep, you must surrender and allow God change you. 

  Galatians 5:24 talk say people wey belong to Christ don crucify their flesh. If you wan enjoy deep things of God, you must let go old ways and comfort zone, make God change you from inside.

Peter na fisherman wey sabi, but when Jesus tell am to go deep and throw net, Peter obey—even when e no make sense. The result na miracle catch (Luke 5:5-6). Sometimes, the better blessing dey wait for us just outside our comfort zone, for deep place where we trust God well.

If you relax for shallow, you fit weak for spirit and devil fit attack. Psalm 107:23-24 talk say people wey dey go deep for sea dey see the wonders of God.

God dey call you today to leave the old, familiar, and shallow water, make you enjoy better blessing, presence, and power. Christian walk no be say storm no go come, but na for deep water you go see say God big pass all your wahala.

All the water for world no fit sink boat unless water enter inside. Na so e be for life—problem no fit finish you if you dey inside Christ and you allow am carry you go deep.

How You Fit Go Deep:

- Hungry for more of God—no settle for surface Christianity.

- Dey spend time for Bible and prayer, dey ask Holy Spirit to guide you.

- Step out with faith, even if e dey hard or new.

- Drop your comfort zone, fear, and self-power.

- Dey worship, study, obey, and love God deep deep.

Make your prayer be: “Take me deeper, Lord!”

PRAYER: Papa God, I know say You dey call me to go deeper. I dey beg for grace, strength, and chance to commot from my comfort zone and go deeper for spiritual things through Christ my Lord. Help me trust You more, seek Your face, and enjoy Your presence and power for every area of my life. Take me deeper, Lord, make my life show Your glory. Na Jesus name I pray, amen.
