Energy vampire na real thing, but e no be medical or scientific diagnosis. Na popular way to describe people or sometimes situation wey dey make person feel drained—emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically—after interaction.

Sometimes, person go pass through situation alone or with people wey go just drain all im mental, physical, emotional, and even spiritual energy, strength, and motivation. Even your vision fit dey sucked comot if you no careful and wise. Just like how some people, no matter how much or how little you relate with them, go dey suck everything wey dey inside you.

Energy vampire normally be person wey dey always drain your emotional energy, whether e do am on purpose or not.

Signs wey show say person be energy vampire na: always dey make everything na about dem, dey blame others, dey find validation every time, dey too negative or dey manipulate, and you go always dey tire or stressed after you spend time with them.

Dem fit always want to be center of attention, dey talk only their wahala, dey find sympathy, dey bring drama, or no dey support you when you need.

Bible address energy vampires as spiritual drainers wey dey "drain" spiritual life. For example, Job friends come with negative talk instead of encouragement for Job 16:2. David talk say discouragement don make im joy and strength dey lost for Psalm 42:5, 11. Anybody or anything wey suck vitality from you na energy vampire.

Proverbs 22:24-25 talk say make you no dey friends with person wey get sharp temper, because you fit start get their bad behavior. Negative influence na the worst energy drain wey dey exist; e fit make you worse than before you enter the relationship. Make you sabi who you dey relate with.

Energy vampires fit be negative people wey dey discourage others, like Job 16:2 talk.

Some dey control and manipulate people, dey sap your own vision, like Numbers 22:6 talk.

Some be drama creators wey like cause wahala or fight, as Proverbs 6:16-19 talk, and some dey always make people feel guilty, as Romans 8:1 talk.

When person or situation dey drain your spirit or emotion, e fit cause emotional or spiritual burn out. For those times, we need to find comfort for Psalm 55:22: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."

Bible say make we love our neighbor for Mark 12:31, but no make e reach the point wey you lose your joy, peace, or God-given purpose, because that one dey happen when we enter too deep for people or matters wey drain us.

We must dey wise as 1 John 4:1-4 talk, test all spirits whether dem dey bring you closer to God or drain your faith.

When people or situation start dey drain your energy, e mean say you don dey too open and easy to reach. Never try carry God work yourself; only God fit give full restoration and satisfaction. Galatians 6:2 tell us to bear one another burdens but remember na God be the true Savior. Trying to help others until you burn out no good at all.

No ever do anything or help person because of guilt or condemnation; carrying too much emotional load fit finish your joy and peace. Christians supposed cast their burdens on the Lord and no allow dem weigh you down.

Persistent energy vampires fit distract you from your spiritual purpose or even make you stray from God.

Proverbs 13:20 talk say: "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm."

This verse remind us say the people we dey relate with fit affect our spiritual and emotional health. Choosing wise people go help protect us from harm and spiritual burn out.

Believers supposed dey set boundaries, show Christ-like love, use wisdom to discern influences, and protect their spiritual wellbeing—always depending on God for true strength and renewal, not on ourselves.
