CHILD-FRIENDLY THE REVEALER OF SECRETS!
Daniel 2:46-47 GNT
Then King Nebuchadnezzar
bowed to the ground and gave orders for sacrifices and offerings to be made to
Daniel. [47] The king said, "Your God is the greatest of all gods, the
Lord over kings, and the one who reveals mysteries. I know this because you
have been able to explain this mystery."
Everyone has secrets, right?
But did you know that nothing is really hidden from God? The Bible says in Hebrews
4:13 that everything is open before Him. God knows everything and sees
everything! He is the Revealer of Secrets—the One who shows us things that are
hidden.
A long time ago, King
Nebuchadnezzar had a dream he couldn’t remember. He asked his wise men to tell
him the dream and its meaning, but they couldn’t. Then Daniel prayed to God,
and God told him the dream and what it meant! The king was amazed and said, “Wow!
Daniel’s God is the Revealer of Secrets!” (Daniel 2:46-47).
Daniel trusted God
completely. He didn’t panic or give up. He prayed and believed that God would
help him. And God did!
Do you trust God like that?
Do you believe He can show you what you need to know?
The Bible says in Proverbs
25:2 that it’s an honour for us to search out God’s secrets. God doesn’t tell
us everything at once—He shares what we need to know when we need it Deuteronomy
29:29. He reveals His secrets through His Word and His prophets Amos 3:7.
But God’s secrets are never
found in things like fortune-telling, horoscopes, or magic Isaiah 8:19. Those
things are lies from the enemy. Instead, we should read the Bible and pray
because God’s truth is hidden in His Word.
When Jesus died on the
cross, the big curtain in the temple tore in two Matthew 27:51. That means we
can come close to God and learn His secrets! Jesus said in Matthew 13:11 that
He tells His followers things others don’t understand.
God wants to share His plans
with people He can trust. Can He trust you? Will you listen and obey when He
speaks? The Holy Spirit helps us understand deep things about God 1 Corinthians
2:10.
Kingdom secrets are waiting
for you! Will you be bold and ask God to show you His plans?
