PIDGIN REJECTION!

Isaya 53:1-5  '“Na who go bilive di message wey wi dey hear naw? Na who don si God hand for dis matter before? My savant grow like seed wey dem plant for dry groun. E nor even get beauti or respet wey go make us notis am. Pipol rijet am and dem nor like am at-all. E bear sofa and pain well-well. Nobody even sorry am and wi trit am like sey e nor mean anytin. But E bear di sofa and pain wey suppose bi awa own. But wi tink sey en sofa na di ponishment wey God gi-am. But dem wound am bikos of awa sin; dem beat am bikos of di bad tins wey wi do. Na di ponishment wey e sofa give us peace and en wounds don make us well. '

 

 

Many of us dey experience painful and heavy rejection for our lives. Sometimes, people wey suppose love us no want us, or dem no accept us, or dem push us away from where we suppose stay. 

Rejection fit make person fear. People dey reject people everyday and e dey cause plenty pain. Since we dey reject others sometimes and people also dey reject us, we fit think say God dey reject us too. 

Everybody don face rejection, e no be new thing. From when we be small children to when we grow up, rejection fit show for different ways: people fit no want be our friend, or for work dem no notice us, or family fit no understand us well. These wahalas dey leave marks for our mind wey dey affect how we see ourselves and others. But make we no forget, rejection no mean say we no get value—na because some people no fit see our true value. 

Even Jesus Christ no escape rejection, e still dey happen every day. Jesus come His own people, but dem no accept am (John 1:11). People dey reject Jesus small small—even if dem no mean am—by ignoring Him love, by fighting against His truth, or by choosing worldly things instead of His Kingdom. Isaiah 53:3 talk say Jesus get big gbege: “dem no respect am, dem reject am, e be man wey sabi suffer and wahala.” People no appreciate am or respect am, but Jesus carry our pain and sorrow. 

Rejection na mindset wey say nobody like, want us, or say we no fit do well. E dey whisper lies to us wey dey change how we see ourselves. Na that kind mind dey make us try do many things to win love, even if e go make us lose peace or our true self. We dey try find love by how we take do things, or by relationship or by wetin people talk about us, just to stop that inner voice wey dey talk say we no good enough. 

But no matter how many things we do, we no fit fill the space for love wey no get condition. Rejection na strong spell and big lie from devil. To Jesus, you be person wey God choose, God love you well well and you dey safe. 

People dey feel say make dem try hard so that people go like dem for wetin dem do, not for who dem be. But no achievement fit kill the spirit of rejection. 

Rejection na devil lie and if person hear lie many times, e go believe am and become their own accuser.  

Rejection for life fit come from loneliness, when person lose work, or from bad conscience. 

Isaiah talk about how Jesus suffer rejection for our sake. Jesus know how e feel for men to reject am, even God the Father reject am during suffering on the cross. If men fit reject God every day, na so dem go reject you. But God no go reject you, no matter what (John 6:36-38). You no dey alone. 

Stronghold of rejection powerful, but God truth strong pass am. Make you choose to believe truth because only truth fit free you. Truth of God love fit heal every broken heart. 

The woman wey dem catch for adultery for John 8, people for her town reject am. Dem wan kill her and hope Jesus go join dem but Jesus no reject am. E no go reject you too. 

Rejection fit kill confidence for many Christians and fit break relationship with friends, man and God. Rejection na biggest pain for human spirit. Anybody wey don suffer abuse, discrimination or abandonment go understand. 

We no suppose fight rejection by ourselves. We suppose carry am go God like 1 Peter 5:7 tell us. 

God love us well well—He accept us as we be. 

God love us so much that e no fit leave us as we be. Make His love cover you and help you overcome rejection. 

God light go shine for your hurting heart and heal am. Only through Jesus love, power and truth, we fit overcome rejection. Make Prince of Peace fill your heart.

PRAYER: Almighty God, I come fight the stronghold of rejection for my life. I tear every lie wey talk say I no good enough, no be love or no be wanted. I take every thought and make am obey Jesus. Make Your truth dey my mind and heart. I declare freedom from rejection and make Your love restore me, in Jesus name. Amen.
