CHILD-FRIENDLY OBEDIENCE IS ACCESS!
Deuteronomy 28:1–2 "If you obey the Lord your God and do what He says, all these blessings will come to you."
What is Obedience? Obedience
means listening to God and doing what He says—not just hearing but acting
(James 1:22).
God loves it when we obey
Him because it shows we love Him too!
Why Does Obedience Matter?
Obedience opens doors!
·
Isaiah 1:19 says: “If you are willing and
obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.”
·
John 14:23 says: “Anyone who loves Me will
obey My teaching… and We will come to them.”
When we obey, we get access
to:
God’s blessings.
God’s presence.
God’s guidance.
Bible Examples
·
Abraham obeyed and God blessed him (Genesis
12:1–2).
·
Peter obeyed Jesus and caught lots of fish
(Luke 5:5–6).
·
Naaman obeyed and was healed (2 Kings 5:14).
What Happens When We
Disobey?
Israel wandered in the
desert because they didn’t obey (Numbers 14:22–23).
Saul lost his kingdom
because he didn’t obey fully (1 Samuel 15:22–23).
How Can We Obey God?
Read His Word (Psalm
119:105)
Trust His plan (Proverbs
3:5–6)
Say “Yes” to His will (Luke
22:42)
Stay close to other
believers (Hebrews 10:25)
Remember: "Obedience
opens doors that prayer alone keeps knocking on." When we obey, we let God
work in us and through us!
