PIDGIN OBEDIENCE NA ACCESS

Deutronomi 28:1–2  “If you obey the Lord your God well well and follow all Him commands carefully… all these blessings go come upon you and go follow you if you obey the Lord your God.”

 

Obedience mean to hear wetin God talk and do am — no matter who you be or wetin you dey face. E no just mean to hear with ear, but to act on wetin you hear as James 1:22 talk.

Obedience matter well well to God — na Him love language. 

Why Obedience Important 

Obedience dey open doors. Isaiah 1:19 talk say, “If you willing and obedient, you go chop the good of the land.” That one mean say obedience dey give access to abundance, favour and provision.

John 14:23 say, “Anybody wey love Me go obey My teaching. My Father go love am, and We go come stay with am.” So your obedience to God’s Word dey open door to His presence and deeper intimacy with Him. 

The full chapter of Deuteronomy 28 show clearly the blessings wey follow obedience and the wahala wey follow disobedience. Obedience bring blessing; disobedience bring setback.

Total obedience dey make prayers get answer as 1 John 3:22 talk. 

Obedience be like doorway wey give believer access to wetin God don already prepare — Him promises, Him presence, and Him power. Obedience no dey buy God favour, e just dey position us to walk inside wetin grace don already provide.

Obedience dey give access to God’s guidance. Proverbs 3:5–6 talk say, “Trust the Lord with all your heart and no lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He go direct your path.” That mean say when we submit by obedience, we dey open way for divine direction.

For Genesis 12:1–2, God tell Abraham, “Come out from your land,” and attach better promise join — “I go make you a great nation.” Na obedience give Abraham access to covenant and journey of faith. 

Later for Genesis 22:16–18, after Abraham obey God with Isaac, God tell am, “Because you do this thing, I go bless you and through your seed nations of the earth go bless.” Na obedience unlock that level of blessing. 

Israel too see say obedience dey bring blessing and protection. Any time dem disobey God, door go close, progress go stop.

Obedience also dey give access to deeper friendship with Jesus. John 14:21 talk say, “He wey get My commandments and obey dem, na him love Me, and I go love am and show Myself to am.” Na obedience open this kind intimate dimension where Jesus dey reveal Himself to person as friend. 

Obedience no be about earning, but about aligning. When we obey, we dey step inside flow of wetin God already dey plan to do. 

Obedience dey give access to: 

-  Direction – like Abraham 

-  Inheritance – like Israel for the promised land 

-  Miracles and calling – like Peter 

-  Healing and restoration – like Naaman 

-  Salvation and sonship – through Christ own obedience 

But disobedience fit block access. Israel disobedience make dem wander for wilderness, as Numbers 14:22–23 show. 

Saul own disobedience too make he lose Kingdom as 1 Samuel 15:22–23 talk. 

If we obey God, we dey unlock access to Him promises. But if we no obey, door go remain closed. 

To obey dey easier when we know God’s Word, as Psalm 119:105 talk — “Thy word na lamp to my feet and light to my path.” 

We must trust Him plan (Proverbs 3:5–6), submit to Him will (Luke 22:42), and stay in fellowship with others (Hebrews 10:25). 

Remember this truth: “Obedience dey open door wey prayer alone dey knock. When we obey God, we no dey make Him more powerful — we just dey give Him more space to move for our life.”
