CHILD-FRIENDLY ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE!

Romans 8:28 GNT

We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.

 

God is never confused or unsure. He always knows exactly what He is doing. Everything God allows in our lives—happy moments, hard times, surprises, and even mistakes—can become part of His good plan for us. He is intentional, loving, and wise.

The Bible says in Isaiah 14:24 that whatever God has planned will happen, and nothing can stop Him. This means that even when things feel difficult or unclear, God is still in control. He is never late, never surprised, and never unsure.

Sometimes we want to understand everything before we obey, but God wants us to trust Him first. Proverbs 19:21 says we may have many plans, but God’s purpose will always win. His way is always better than ours.

Think of Joseph. His brothers hurt him, he became a slave, and he even went to prison. It looked like everything was going wrong. But in the end, Joseph said in Genesis 50:20 that God turned everything for good. God used his pain to prepare him for a big assignment.

God also used David’s challenges to shape him. David later said in Psalm 119:71 that his troubles helped him learn God’s ways. God uses both the good and the hard moments to help us grow.

Even when we make mistakes, God’s purpose continues. Peter denied Jesus, but Jesus forgave him and used him powerfully.

To walk in God’s purpose, we must surrender like Jesus did: “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42). When we trust God, we stop worrying and rest in His plan. Philippians 1:6 reminds us that God will finish the good work He started in us.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

·       Has God ever brought something good out of something hard? 

·       What is one small step of obedience you can take today?

PRAYER: Father, thank You that Your purpose for my life is good and unshakable. Help me trust You, obey You, and grow more like Jesus every day. Amen.
