PIDGIN THE SPIRIT OF BOLDNESS!
2 Timothy 1:7 “Bikos God nor give us di spirit wey go make us fear, but di spirit wey E give us, get pawa, love and sef kontrol.
Boldness no be natural
confidence, personality strength, or human courage. Na spiritual power wey dey
come from the Holy Spirit. Boldness na the opposite of fear. Na the
supernatural ability to talk, act, and stand for God without intimidation,
hesitation, or shame.
Boldness na the nature of
the Spirit of God. Anywhere the Holy Spirit dey, fear dey lose power. When the
early church pray, “grant unto Your servants boldness” as Acts 4:29 talk, the
place shake, and dem all full with the Holy Spirit. Immediately, dem begin talk
the Word with boldness. This one show say boldness no dey come from person; na
the Spirit dey produce am.
Believer wey no know who dem
be for Christ no fit waka in boldness. Proverbs 28:1 talk say, “The righteous dey
as bold as a lion.” Boldness dey flow from righteousness—when you know say God
don accept you, forgive you, empower you, and Heaven dey back you. When you
understand your identity, fear no fit control you again.
David show this identity‑driven boldness when he face
Goliath. He no depend on him size or skill; he depend on the God wey dey with
am for 1 Samuel 17:45–47.
Him boldness come from revelation, no be physical strength.
The Word of God dey build
courage. God tell Joshua, “Dey strong and very courageous… this Book of the Law
no go comot from your mouth” for Joshua 1:7–8. God dey teach Joshua say
boldness dey grow where the Word dey stay. When the Word full your heart, fear
no fit rule your mind.
Jeremiah try hold back God
message, but the Word turn “like fire shut up in my bones” as Jeremiah 20:9
talk. The Word ignite boldness inside am.
Before Pentecost, Peter dey
fear. He deny Jesus three times. But after the Holy Spirit come upon am, he
stand before thousands preach with authority as Acts 2:14–41 show. The same man
wey fear small servant girl before, now dey face religious leaders without
shaking.
This change show say the
Spirit of boldness no be human bravery—na divine empowerment.
Every divine assignment need
boldness. Moses need boldness to face Pharaoh. Esther need boldness to go meet
the king. Daniel need boldness to pray even when dem threaten am with lion’s
den. Paul need boldness to preach for dangerous places.
Without boldness, gifts go
remain unused, callings go remain quiet, and destinies go remain unfulfilled.
Boldness dey open doors.
Boldness dey break barriers. Boldness dey silence the enemy. Boldness dey push
the Kingdom forward.
Boldness dey confront fear
and darkness.
Fear na one of Satan
strongest weapons. E dey paralyse, silence, and limit people. But boldness dey
destroy fear. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego boldly refuse to bow to
Nebuchadnezzar idol as Daniel 3:16–18 show, fear lose power. Their boldness bring
divine intervention.
Boldness no mean danger no
dey; e mean you refuse to bow to fear.
Boldness no be arrogance. E
no be rudeness. E no be noise. True boldness dey rooted inside love and truth.
Paul pray make he “speak boldly, as I ought to speak” as Ephesians 6:19–20
talk. Boldness na courage to talk truth even when e no popular, to stand for
righteousness even when e cost you, and to represent Christ even when e risky.
When believers dey walk in
boldness, miracles dey follow because boldness dey produce results. The
apostles heal the sick, cast out demons, and preach with power because dem
operate in boldness. Boldness dey attract the supernatural.
When you step out in
boldness, Heaven dey step in with power.
