“No Fear!” – God’s Encouragement for Every Day

Bible na the most correct library for this world. Every single thing inside am dey well planned, God arrange everything for where e suppose dey. As 2 Timothy 3:16 talk, “All Scripture na God give us, e good for teaching, correction, and to train us how to live right.” So, any topic wey you dey find—whether for Old Testament or New Testament—you go see am for Bible. Bible no dey finish! You fit dey study any topic, story, or person for Bible and e go keep you busy for long. But God still put one special phrase inside Bible wey go encourage us every day if we wan collect am: 

“No fear,” “fear not,” or “no dey afraid.”

We get 365 days for one year. You fit study any topic for Bible and e no go pass few months, but God, with Him wisdom, give us daily encouragement for Him word—if we ready to find am. God give us words wey go help us stand gidigba and no give up.

No fear!

Devil dey use different things try put fear for our heart, but make we remember say nothing dey to fear except fear itself. Fear na just “false evidence wey dey appear real”—if we remove our eye from God, fear fit work against us.

God sabi the kind things wey dey worry us  as Psalm 94:11 talk and e know say some of dem fit bring fear. Na why God don already put sweet words for Him word to lift us up and help us when we dey fear.

The first time God talk “no fear” for Bible na to Abram for Genesis 15:1. Na after Abram fight kings and carry plenty things come back. Why God go tell am “no fear”? Maybe God see say something dey come wey fit make Abram fear. As God always dey do, He go encourage and strengthen us before we reach that junction.

This na the first time for Bible wey God tell person make e no fear. From there, the message dey repeat for Bible—God dey always encourage Him people when fear wan enter.

Every day, things fit happen wey go make us fear or even doubt God. But God, with Him big mercy, give us this phrase to encourage us every day. E be one of the most repeated words for Bible.

Wetin be that fear wey wan make you give up? God dey tell you today: “No fear.”

Many Christians no really understand wetin “no fear” mean, or dem no dey believe am, especially when wahala too much. But make you get hope: God dey walk with you and stand by your side for every storm. As Isaiah 41:10 talk: 

“No fear, because I dey with you; no shake, because I be your God. I go strengthen you, I go help you, I go hold you with my correct right hand.”

If you get relationship with God, you fit sure say Him presence, help, and power go always dey with you for any wahala.

- No fear wetin anybody, spirit or situation fit do you  according to Psalm 118:6, because God dey your side.

- No fear any attack or bad mouth; dem don already lose as Isaiah 54:17 talk.

- Remember, people wey dey hide under God in Psalm 91:1 no get anything to fear, as Deuteronomy 31:6 talk: “The Lord your God dey go with you; He no go ever leave you or forget you.”

No fear!
