9Jerusalem wey dem skata, make una shaut dey happy, bikos God go save en pipol kon give dem peace.

10God go use en holy pawa take save en pipol and di whole world go si am.

 

 

Dis phrase "Go Tell It on the Mountain" get strong meaning for Bible. Anytime beta thing happen for our life, e good make we shout am for everywhere, for up mountain, anywhere people dey, so dem go sabi wetin God don do for us. E dey show say we dey happy for wetin God do, and e fit make other people know say God fit do miracle and bless person.

For church, we dey always get testimony time or program, where people wey dey wait for God finally get their breakthrough. Bible sef talk say make we dey encourage each other, and the best way na to tell people how God don bless us.

Jesus talk for Matthew 28:19-20 say make we "go tell the good news" for everywhere for this world.

"Go Tell It on the Mountain" na the same thing wey Jesus tell Him disciples-make dem carry the gospel go everywhere. Na wetin we dey call the Great Commission. E mean say e good make we dey tell people about Jesus everywhere.

The popular Christmas song "Go Tell It on the Mountain" na from the story of the shepherds for Luke 2:8-20. After dem see say Jesus don born, dem begin tell everybody wetin dem see and hear (Luke 2:17-18). Na so dem carry the good news waka everywhere. E still join with the command wey Jesus give say make we "go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation," so make we dey spread the message anywhere we dey.

Wetin you sabi? Wetin you don hear wey suppose dey shout for mountain top? 

Wetin God don do for your life? Which miracle you don receive? Which breakthrough you dey enjoy wey fit encourage another person?

The second verse for the carol “Joy to the World” talk say: 

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns! He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found!" 

Jesus come make e remove curse anywhere e dey. Think am for your life: 

- The curse dey show for shame and when dem dey oppress us. 

- E dey show for injustice and abuse wey we dey face from people. 

- For all the hard work wey nobody dey appreciate. 

- For families wey don scatter. 

But the good news be say all dis one no go last, Jesus go change everything when Him kingdom come.

But sometimes, we no dey talk about the saving power of the gospel as we suppose. We suppose dey shout am everywhere.

Bible talk say make we dey share our story, testimony, and how God take help us, anytime we get chance, so we fit bring people come meet Christ wey be Redeemer. Just as the watchmen for Jerusalem dey sing with joy when dem see the Lord dey come, na so all believers suppose dey talk about God for mountain top.

Go tell am for mountain-make we dey talk the good news of Jesus Christ everywhere, just like the shepherds for Luke 2 and as Isaiah 52:7 talk.

PRAYER: Papa God, give me boldness and courage to dey talk and shout about your wonderful works and the gift of salvation anywhere and anytime I fit, for Jesus name, amen.
