Ally na person or group wey dey help or support another person for any kind matter, and dey support people wey dey suffer or minority, even if dem no be part of the group. Alliance mean say two or more people join body because dem get common interest or goal. Ally fit be helper for anywhere-politics, health, emotion, or even for spiritual matter.

Spiritual ally na person wey dey support you for your journey with God. Dis person fit be your friend, mentor, pastor, or any Christian wey dey your side. E go dey listen to your wahala and joy, no go judge you, go give you wise advice from Bible, dey pray for you and with you, dey encourage you to stand strong for God, and even help you correct your ways with love.

For Bible, we see the first alliance for Genesis 14, when five kings join Chedorlaomer king of Elam to fight battle. Everybody need ally for life. Anywhere we dey, sometimes we go need person to stand with us. As Ecclesiastes 4:12 for Message Bible talk: “If na only you, you no get protection. But if you get friend, you fit face anything. If you fit add one more, na three-stranded rope wey no dey cut easily.” True talk! No good make person dey alone. E better make you get person wey care for you join body. Make we value people wey God put for our life.

Power dey for numbers! 

Why you go dey struggle alone when you fit get help from ally? When you get spiritual ally, e go help you stand well, dey motivated, and dey connected with God. Dem go dey your side when your faith dey shake, and dem go celebrate with you when God answer your prayer.

You fit win your battle by God’s mercy, but if you join hand with people wey get same mind, Bible talk say five of you go chase hundred enemies, hundred go chase thousand. More hand make work easy!

But make we shine our eye-our alliance suppose be with people wey get God, wisdom, and good heart. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 talk, no join body with wrong people. No ally with people wey no get conscience, wey dey do bad thing, or wey dey rebel, as Proverbs 24:21 warn us.

When we gather together for fellowship, no matter how many we be, our voice and heart join together, e go get power pass if na only one person. As Matthew 18:18-19 talk, when we agree for prayer, we fit bind, loose, and scatter anything.

Prayer alliance get power! For Acts 2:1-6, when dem gather pray, Holy Spirit come, and thousands give their life to Christ.

Nehemiah face wahala when e dey rebuild Jerusalem wall, but because dem get better and strong ally, dem fit continue the work even when e no easy (Nehemiah 4:23).

God too dey ally with us for wetin concern Him. For 1 Chronicles 5:18-22, the tribe of Reuben go war with big army, dem cry to God, and God help dem win because the battle na God own.

God want make you ally with am, especially when wahala come. Psalm 34:15 talk say, “The Lord dey look the righteous, and e dey hear their cry.” You be God pikin? You don ally with am and dey cry to am?

Make you find godly and wise people wey go help you build strong spiritual alliance.

PRAYER: Papa God, thank you for fellowship and community. I dey beg make you connect me with correct person wey go walk this faith journey with me, or make me be encouragement and strength for another person. Give us wisdom, understanding, and love as we support each other. Make our friendship draw us near you and help us grow for grace, faith, and obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
