PIDGIN GODLY DIRECTION!

Psalm 32:8-9 “God sey, “I go guide and take yu pass di best road for life. I go advise and wosh ova yu. 9So, make yu nor bi like horse or animal wey nor get sense and wey nid kane to kontrol am.”

 

Bible talk for verse 9 say: “No be like horse or mule wey no get sense, wey dem go need bit and bridle to control am before e go near you.” Stubbornness and rebellion get difference. Rebellion na when person dey fight authority or refuse to obey, while stubbornness na when person just no wan change e mind or way. Proverbs 14:12 warn us say sometimes the way wey dey look right for our eye fit end for wahala.

All of us need direction to reach where God want make we go. If we wan reach there well and on time, we must dey follow how God dey lead us. If God no show us road, we fit fail for many things. As believers, we no suppose dey waka anyhow or dey follow our flesh; na the Spirit we suppose dey follow, as Romans 8:4 talk. Make we no dey stubborn or dey fight God direction.

Divine direction mean say na God dey lead you by Him word and by Him Spirit, sometimes through revelation. Jeremiah 33:3 talk say if we call on God, He go show us great and mighty things we no sabi before.

Everybody like to know wetin to do, especially when life wahala come. God create us for purpose. Na Him sabi the best road, the best time, and the best way to carry us reach where we suppose dey.

To get divine direction, you go need submit to God fully. You go need get Kingdom mind, serve God the way and for the terms wey He want (Matthew 6:24). Make you dey stay for God presence every day and dey follow Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:25), so you fit sabi, understand, and receive God direction. Christian life dey start from inside before e show for outside; wetin you get for spirit na im go show for your life.

Obedience na key to follow God direction. You must ready to obey God, no be by force but from your heart. Disobedience na when you reject God word, like Saul for 1 Samuel 15:20-24. God give Saul clear instruction, but Saul do wetin e like. Obedience mean say you dey follow God word personally, no be because dem force you.

Obedience dey important for Kingdom mind, and e get price. Many times we dey ask God for direction, but when He give us instruction, we go do our own way because we think say e too hard. But 1 John 5:3 talk say God command no dey hard.

Saul talk say he obey God, but he no do wetin God talk. Many of us dey like that: we dey ask God for direction, but we go still do our own.

God say He go instruct and teach us the road wey we go follow, meaning say He no go just give us instruction, He go also teach us how to obey so we fit reach the goal wey go please am.

As believers, we must dey sensitive to how God dey lead us, because divine direction na for people wey dey trust God, no be people wey dey use only their sense (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Stubbornness or rebellion fit block person from get God direction. Horse or dog wey no dey obey master go enter wahala. God na the only one wey sabi road well, so make we allow am lead us.

PRAYER: Papa God, abeg help me make I dey always follow the direction and instruction wey You dey give me, make I no dey stubborn or resist Your leading. Na Jesus name I pray, amen.
