PIDGIN UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!

John 3:16 ““God love di pipol wey dey dis world well-well, so E kon send di only pikin wey E get to us, so dat anybody wey bilive am, nor go die, but e go get life wey nor dey end.”

 

Wetin unconditional love really mean? Unconditional love na love wey no get condition or limit—love wey no dey ask question or shake. 

For Bible, unconditional love na big topic, e dey always join with the way God take love human beings, and how we suppose love each other too.

How we fit sure say this kind love dey, and where we fit see am? Na only one true place unconditional love dey come from: God. Bible full everywhere with God love—na the best example of loyalty, pure heart, and mercy wey God show human beings. This kind love suppose show for our relationships, like for marriage and between brothers and sisters. But na only God fit show unconditional love finish, nobody fit love reach God.

God love no get limit or condition. This love no depend on wetin we do or if we deserve am, na because of who God be and Him grace. 

God love dey steady, e no dey finish. 1 Chronicles 16:34 talk am: “Make una thank the Lord, because e good; him love dey last forever!” Psalm 36:7 talk am too: “How precious your love be, O God!” God love no dey fail or end.

God love na sacrifice. Romans 5:8 talk say, “But God show how much e love us as Christ die for us, even when we still dey do bad.” God show this love by the biggest sacrifice—Jesus die for our sin.

God love the world well well. God love us so tey e no fit talk, e too much, e make am possible say “anybody” wey believe for Christ go get everlasting life. God love too big sometimes we dey doubt if we deserve am. Truth be say, we no deserve am! God love no depend on wetin we do, but on Him lovingkindness. Psalm 25:6 remind us say God don dey show us Him love since long time.

1 John 4:8 talk am clear: “God na love!” Love na who God be. Everything wey God dey do, na love dey push am. 1 Corinthians 13:8 talk say God love no dey fail—e no dey end or give up! Among faith, hope, and love, the greatest na love. God love no tie to anything or anybody; e no depend on our performance, fine face, achievement, connection, money or position. God love na about Him, because na Him be love!

True love dey inside God nature; na only God fit give correct love. Our love for God na just response to the love wey He first show us. 1 John 4:10 talk am: “This na love: no be say we love God, but na Him love us and send Him Son make Him die for our sin.” So, God love na the example wey we suppose follow to love other people.

If we wan learn how to love people without condition, make we look God, wey be the perfect source of love. Unconditional love pass just feeling; e suppose ginger us to do more and be better. Love na action—e dey show for wetin person dey do. God show Him love reach the highest by sending Jesus die for us for 1 John 4:9-11, even when we no deserve am. Na unconditional love be dat!

God talk for Isaiah 54:10 say Him love for us no go ever shake. God love big pass Him anger, and e no dey change. Love dey respond—we fit love because God first love us. God show Him love for us for cross (Romans 5:8). The love wey dey last forever according to Psalm 136:26 no dey finish, no dey die, no dey fail, and na true unconditional love.

God unconditional love na something we fit sure of, because nothing—absolutely nothing—fit separate us from Him love for Romans 8:38-39. Everything for life fit finish, but God love no go ever finish, expire or die. God unconditional love no dey fail.

PRAYER: Thank you, Lord, for your unconditional love wey give me Jesus, life, and chance to get eternal life through Jesus sacrifice. Amen.
