The Holy Spirit na the third Person for the Trinity—Godhead. Him be another of the same kind like Jesus—Him no dey higher or lower, dem be equal.

The Spirit of God na God in action—inside us, on top us, and around us. We no fit see the Spirit, but we dey see wetin Him power dey do. The Spirit dey when God create the world for Genesis 1:2, and God don dey send Him Spirit to do powerful things among Him people from time. When Jesus dey earth, the Spirit dey with am, and since then, the Spirit still dey with Christians.

Jesus talk say Him need go so that the Comforter(Holy Spirit) fit come. The Holy Spirit na the result of Jesus death and na the first part of our inheritance Ephesians 1:14. Na Jesus parting gift to all wey believe in am.

Jesus body fit only dey one place at a time, but Him Spirit dey everywhere—Omnipresent Matthew 18:20.

The Holy Spirit na the one wey dey convict people. Him dey convince unbelievers of sin and bring back believers wey don fall away John 15:26, John 16:8. Na through conviction Him dey change lives.

The Holy Spirit na God power. From creation time Genesis 1:1–2, Job 26:13 till now, Him dey do mighty works. But many people dey treat the Holy Spirit anyhow—dem dey ignore or disrespect am, sometimes without knowing. Instead make we honour and appreciate Him presence and power.

The Holy Spirit na our partner—Him dey help us for every area of life. But we dey try control our life by ourselves, forgetting say the Holy Spirit na our advantage over natural things Luke 12:12.

Him dey help us when we weak. Sometimes we no even know wetin to pray, but the Holy Spirit dey pray for us with groanings wey words no fit express Romans 8:26.

The Holy Spirit na our Guide. Him no just show road—Him dey follow us go the road. Him dey teach us truth and no dey hide anything wey go help us as stated in John 16:13, Romans 8:14

All the gifts wey believers get—preaching, speaking in tongues, miracles—na under the influence of the Holy Spirit to glorify Christ 1 Corinthians 12:4–11, Acts 2:4.

The Holy Spirit dey show say Christ na the true teacher. Him dey expose fake religion wey reject Christ—na devil dey behind that kind religion.

Because the Holy Spirit get sense, will, and emotion, Him go like make we show am love, gratitude, and respect. We suppose cherish am with our worship and praise. Make we listen to am more than we dey listen to man. Make we allow am work inside and through us to change us.

The Holy Spirit na many things to us—but especially the Spirit of Truth wey we need for this time wey lie full everywhere ay John 16:13.

The Holy Spirit take Jesus’ place for earth to help us in every way. So, make you listen to am—Him go lead you into all truth.

PRAYER: Papa God, thank You for the gift of Your Spirit—my secret weapon and advantage. Help me to trust and depend on am more than myself. In Jesus name, amen.
