For medical side, scar na di mark wey dey show say body don heal after e get wound. If your skin or body injure—like cut, burn, operation, infection or any wahala—your body go try repair am by making new tissue wey dem dey call collagen.

For Bible side, scar mean both suffer and better thing. Di biggest example na Jesus own. After dem crucify am and e rise from death, Jesus show im disciples di scar for im hand and side, to prove say na Him really die and rise again for John 20:27.

Scar get different type. Some dey show, some no dey show. Some na for body, some dey inside mind. Some na mistake, some na person do you, some na you do yourself. 

Scar fit be badge of honour, or e fit be shame. 

E fit show say you sacrifice, or say you win for battle.

Jesus own scar get big meaning for Christian life. Di scar wey Jesus get na from crucifixion: 

- Nail mark for hand and leg 

- Spear wound for im side 

- Whip mark for back 

- Maybe mark from di crown of thorns

All these na Jesus sacrifice scar.

Scar fit mean different thing for different people: 

Physical scar: Na mark wey you dey see for body after wound, operation or skin wahala. 

Emotional or mind scar: Na pain or trauma wey dey your heart or mind wey no dey show, but e dey affect you. 

Spiritual or symbol scar: E mean say you survive, you strong, or God don change your life.

You get scar? Which kind you get and how you take get am? 

No worry! Di crown wey you go get from all di scars wey life give you na di best. For Bible, people wey win race or fight dey get laurel crown for 1 Corinthians 9:25. Di crown show say dem suffer, train, get scar, but still win. God promise eternal life for people wey endure according to Revelation 2:10.

Paul talk for Galatians 6:17 say im get mark of Jesus for body, na from all di wahala and beating wey im collect as wee for 2 Corinthians 11:23–27. Dis scar turn to crown for am—e become testimony.

How your own be? You get scar wey you fit show say na for Christ you get am? 

Or your scar na before you know Christ, or inside Christ, or na people give you?

2 Timothy 4:8 talk say crown dey wait for anybody wey finish well and strong. Dat crown go cover all di pain wey give you scar.

1 Peter 5:4 talk say crown of glory dey wait for us. God dey beautify our journey with grace and glory. Anytime we honour am, we dey show di glory wey e give us. Dis crown na reminder of im promise and say we dey faithful. Make we dey glorify am as we dey wait for di day wey e go give us crown of glory.

No let di scar wey life give you define you. Make di crown of glory beautify you. No let anybody collect your crown from you according to Revelation 3:11. 

No let pain, disappointment, betrayal, loss, ignorance or disobedience make you lose your crown. No hold scar as badge of honour so you fit collect your crown. No let scar make you give up, so you no go lose your reward according to Hebrews 10:35.

PRAYER: Baba God, make my scar no be mark of shame, but evidence say you heal me, redeem me, and you love me well well. Make e remind me say, through Christ, even wound fit turn to hope and testimony. In Jesus name. Amen.
