Bible talk say truth dey very important for God own nature and for we wey dey follow am. E teach say God na true God, e word na truth, and to live for truth na calling and way wey fit set person free.

But for this our world today, people dey see truth anyhow—dem dey twist am to suit dia own story. Some dey talk say truth get colour, tribe or country, and wetin be truth for one person, fit no be truth for another. But for Romans 3:4, Bible talk say: “Make God dey true and every human being be liar.” Even with this, many people still dey try use God word anyhow take do wetin dem like. But John 17:17 talk say: “Make you use truth take make dem holy. Your word na truth.” God word no just dey true—E be Truth wey no dey change.

Truth na wetin gree with wetin God talk, e real, e sure, e dey like God nature. Bible dey give us not just knowledge about truth but how make we live the truth. But some people don dey twist Bible to collect gain for demself, forget say 2 Peter 1:20–21 warn say no prophecy for Bible come from person own private interpretation.

Some dey talk say dem sabi when Jesus go come back. For example, Daniel 8:14 talk about “2,300 evening and morning”—na talk about cleansing the temple, no be about Jesus second coming. Like the Bereans for Acts 17:11, make we dey read Bible everyday to check if wetin we hear na so e be. We suppose study, use sense test any talk, and live the truth—not to bend am do wetin we like.
