PIDGIN YOU FIT COUNT ON CHRIST

2 Timothy 1:12 “And naim make mi dey sofa wetin I dey sofa so. But I nor dey shame, bikos I know di Pesin wey I dey serve and I dey sure sey, E go guide di tin wey I gi-am whole, until di day wey Christ go kom.

 

To count on person mean say you trust or believe say that person go do wetin dem talk, or go dey there for you. If you fit count on person, e mean say you sabi say dem go support you, help you, or keep their promise. I don see for my life say some people I fit really count on—dem dey support, encourage, and help me anytime I need. Dem show up and keep their promise. But make we remember say dem be human being. Just imagine the kind joy wey go dey if you fit count on God, on Christ, Holy Spirit and God promise. E no get word to explain!

But for this our world, e get plenty people wey no dey reliable, even people wey close to us. We no fit live alone, we need each other. Bible talk say make we dey rely on people, but make we wise. Relationship and community dey important, but na God we suppose trust pass. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 talk say, “Two better pass one... If one fall, the other fit help am stand.” This one show say to get person wey you fit count on dey important.

Proverbs 17:17 talk say, “Friend dey love anytime, and brother dey show for time of wahala.” True friend na person wey you fit count on when kasala burst. But Psalm 146:3 warn us, “No put your trust for big man or human being, because dem no fit save you.” This one remind us say human help get limit, but God own no dey finish.

You get people wey you fit count on and trust say dem go keep their word? 

We fit count on people small, but na God we suppose put our full trust.

Christ no go ever fail us; He no fail when e hard reach—when e waka go cross! He no fail for cross! He no go ever fail. He dey trustworthy and sure. 

You fit count on am! 

You fit count on Christ for love, provision, faithfulness, and salvation!

Paul count on God even for wahala. He face prison, shipwreck, and plenty persecution, but he still trust God plan. For Philippians 4:13, Paul talk say, “I fit do all things through Christ wey dey give me strength.” Even when people fail am, Paul still trust God.

Christ show say you fit count on am for Romans 5:8: “But God show Him love for us because when we still be sinner, Christ die for us!” This one mean say you fit count on Christ love and sacrifice, no matter how your condition be.

How long, how far you fit really count on people? Sometimes, people fit change because of wahala or things wey dey happen. Some go even leave you for journey. 

But Christ no go ever leave us! He too faithful to fail.

Psalm 130:5 talk say, “I dey wait for the LORD; yes, I dey count on am. I don put my hope for Him word.” This one show say make we depend on God and put our hope for am.

We fit count on friends and family, but make we always count on God first to show us people wey we fit trust, like Psalm 54:4 talk. This verse show say God na our support and helper.

You fit count on Christ!

PRAYER: Papa God, I go always trust you, I go pour my heart give you, because na you be my refuge. I know say you dey always there for me and you go always be my sure and reliable helper. Amen.
