(CHILD-FRIENDLY) CHRISTIAN VALUES!
Memory Verse: “The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the honest are as brave as a lion”. Proverbs 28:1.
Proverbs 28:1-28 teaches us how to live in a way that
makes God happy and helps others too. These are called Christian values—they
are like good habits that show love, kindness, honesty, and respect.
Γ Be
Brave and Honest
When you tell the truth and do what’s right, you don’t
have to be afraid. God gives you courage!
Γ Be
Wise and Kind
Verse 2 reminds us that smart and fair leaders help a
country stay strong.
You can be a leader by being kind, helping others, and
making good choices.
WHAT ARE CHRISTIAN VALUES?
Christian values are things Jesus taught us, like:
- Loveπ
- Kindness π
- Honesty π£️
- Respect π
- Helping others π€
- Forgiveness ❤️
These values never go out of style—they are always good,
no matter how the world changes.
HOW CAN YOU GROW IN CHRISTIAN VALUES?
Here are some simple steps:
1. Pray every day and ask God to help you be more like
Jesus.
2. Read the Bible or listen to Bible stories.
3. Be kind to your family, friends, and even people you do
not know.
4. Tell the truth, even when it is hard.
5. Say sorry when you do something wrong.
6. Help others, especially those in need.
Stay Strong When Others Do Wrong
Sometimes people around you may not follow God’s ways.
But you can:
Say “No” to wrong things.
Be a good example.
Talk to God when you feel confused or pressured.
Be a Light in Your Family and School
You can show Christian values by:
-
Helping at home without being asked.
-
Being respectful to teachers and classmates.
-
Sharing with others.
-
Standing up for what’s right, even if you're
the only one.
PRAYER: Dear God, I want to be a good person and live the
way Jesus taught. Help me to be kind, honest, and loving every day. Make me
brave like a lion and help me to do what’s right, even when it’s hard. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.
Shalom
