CHILD-FRIENDLY - GOOD NEIGHBOUR
Memory Verse: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” — Matthew 22:39
-Who Is My Neighbour?
A neighbour is anyone around you—your friend, classmate,
someone on your street, or even someone you don’t know yet!
Jesus teaches us that everyone is our neighbour, and we
should treat them with love, kindness, and care.
What Does It Mean to Be a Good Neighbour?
- Say hello and be friendly.
- Help others when they need it.
- Be kind to people, even if they’re different from
you.
- Share, care, and show love like Jesus did.
Bible Story: The Good Samaritan
Jesus told a story about a man who was hurt. Many people
passed by and didn’t help. But one man—a Samaritan—stopped, helped, and showed
love.
Jesus said the Samaritan was the true neighbour because
he showed compassion.
WHY IT MATTERS
- God wants us to love everyone, not just our
friends.
- Being a good neighbour makes the world a better
place.
- When we love others, we show that God’s love is in us.
