CHILD-FRIENDLY LAW WITH GRACE!
Memory Verse: “The Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” — John 1:17 (AMP)
What Is Law and What Is
Grace?
- Law is like rules that
tell us what is right and wrong.
- Grace is a special gift
from God—it’s His love and kindness that we don’t earn but He gives freely!
What the Bible Says
- God gave laws to Moses to
help people live the right way.
- But people couldn’t always
follow the rules perfectly.
- So God sent Jesus, who
brought grace and truth to help us be close to God again.
Why Do We Need Grace?
- Sometimes we make mistakes
or break rules.
- The law shows us what we
did wrong, but grace forgives us.
- Jesus came to save us, not
to punish us.
- Grace is like getting a
hug from God even when we mess up!
Law vs. Grace
- Law says: “Don’t touch the
cookie!”
- If you do, you get in
trouble.
- Grace says: “I forgive
you. Let’s try again.”
- Jesus gives us grace
because He loves us so much!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. Have you ever been
forgiven when you made a mistake?
2. How does it feel to know
Jesus gives you grace?
3. Can you show grace to
someone who hurt your feelings?
4. Why is it important to
follow rules but also forgive others?
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You
for loving me even when I make mistakes. Thank You for sending Jesus to give me
grace and truth. Help me to follow Your ways and show kindness and forgiveness
to others. Amen.
Shalom
