PIDGIN ENVIRONMENT!

As we sabi, God na di creator of all nature. Human artist dey express their personality through creativity, but e start wit God wey dey express Him infinite glory and creativity through nature. God na di artist, architect, painter, and flower organizer of nature—no need human qualification or consideration—but full of artistic and aesthetic beauty as e talk for Psalm 19:1 and 104:24. 

We all create to share responsibility for di earth by being good stewards of di created environment because our environment na expression of di person and nature of God, so e supposes get deep respect. 

Plenty people today don turn away from di Creator and begin worship di creation, di environment, as e be for Romans 1:25. 

Di very first work wey God give Adam and all humanity na to tend and care for di Garden of Eden, di environment. According to Genesis 1:28, we all share responsibility for di earth by being good stewards of di created environment. 

Today, plenty groups dey fight for all kinds causes—water, animals, plants—and people dey fight to preserve anything dem feel necessary—not because of respect for God or Godly stewardship, but mostly because of wrong idea to prevent extinction of wetin dem fight for. 

But like di Israelites for old times, we don also spoil and disrespect di environment, as Jeremiah 2:7 talk. God give us everything for creation to sustain us, but some people dey either not use am or misuse am. We get enough for both food and fuel. 

God tell us for 1 Corinthians 4:2 to take care of environment well well, because according to John 1:3, all things come through Christ, and without Him nothing was made. 

God creative power full inside and around di universe, and especially our environment, as Psalm 104:25-31 talk:  Here na di ocean, wide and vast, full of life of every kind, big and small.  See di ships wey dey sail, and Leviathan, wey You make to play for sea.  Dem dey depend on You to give dem food as dem need am.  When You give am, dem gather am. You open Your hand to feed dem, and dem dey full well well.  But if You turn away from dem, dem go dey fear. When You remove their breath, dem go die and turn to dust.  When You give dem breath, life dey create, and You dey renew di face of di earth.  May di glory of di Lord continue forever! di Lord dey enjoy all wetin He make!* 

If di Lord dey happy with all wetin He make, we wey be Him pikin, and Him make all things for, suppose also dey happy and take care of all He make. 

We no fit worship nature, because di Creator God, not di creation—di environment and everything inside am—holy pass. But we fit show love and respect for di Creator by taking care of Him creation as good stewards. 

We no fit create anything. God, wey make all things, get power to sustain all things according to Luke 12:27-30. Some people put environment pass human life, but to God, all dey important as Isaiah 43:20-21 talk. Di weather, plants, and animals na part of di environment God create on earth, and dem be as much part of God’s creation as human being. 

As believers and stewards of God’s creation, we suppose do wetin we fit to care for di environment. Each one of us get responsibility for our contribution to di environment, so we must act to protect, preserve, and respect am. 

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

- How I dey show respect and care for God creation for my everyday life? 

- Which kain wahala I dey face to put environment for my spiritual stewardship? 

- How I fit balance using natural resources without abusing or neglecting dem? 

- How knowing God as Creator fit change how I see environment and my role to protect am? 

PRAYER: Papa God, abeg help me make I be good steward of your creation, environment, so dat your name go get glory for Jesus name. Amen.
