PIDGIN FIRE FOR MY MOUTH!

Jeremaya 5:14: "Because dem talk like dis, the LORD wey dey control everything talk say, 'Because of wetin dem talk, I go make the word wey I put for your mouth be like fire. And I go make dis people be like wood wey the fire go burn with judgment.'"_ 

 

Fire na sign of God presence and Him power—whether na to show say He dey happy or to show say judgment don land—like we see for Exodus 3:2 and Exodus 14:19. Fire fit represent God well well, because one of Him name na Consuming Fire as we see for Deuteronomy 9:3. 

When God dey speak through Him prophet, the word dey hot, dey burn, and dey clean—like fire. Fire dey behave like living thing: e dey “chop” anything wey dey Him front and e dey “breathe” to stay alive. 

If God Word dey burn inside our bones like Jeremiah 20:9 talk, then the only way e fit come out na through our mouth. 

God Word na weapon—but we suppose use am well and with power. We suppose talk the Word make heaven begin work, like Job 22:28 talk. God Word no dey fail. E dey burn inside us like fire—na revelation and na force. 

The Word strong reach say for Revelation 11:5, God talk say fire go come out from the mouth of Him witnesses to fight anybody wey wan harm dem. Na like spiritual missile wey dey fire against wahala. 

Talk na part of our everyday life, but Bible still talk say “time dey to keep quiet” for Ecclesiastes 3:7. To keep quiet when others dey talk na sign of respect like Job 6:24 show, and to hold mouth when dem tell you secret na wisdom like Proverbs 20:19 talk. 

You fit dey one kind place now wey you wan give up on wetin God put for your heart—but like Jeremiah, make you let that fire wey dey your bones come out through your mouth like sword. 

When we dey pray, the word wey we dey talk na like fire—e dey burn enemy work or e dey pull grace and faith blessing come our side. 

For 1 Kings 18 and 2 Kings 1, Elijah use fire as weapon—to defend Him faith and protect Himself. Any other weapon we fit use as Christians, the Word of God still remain the main and strongest one—na sword, na hammer, and na fire wey fit break, burn, and give victory. 

God promise say we no go die for Psalm 118:17, but still talk say power of life and death dey our mouth for Proverbs 18:21. The power to change things dey inside us. When wahala show, make we remember say the Word of God wey dey our mouth na weapon of fire—and make we use am with holy wisdom. 

For Acts 2, on the Day of Pentecost, cloven tongues like fire come down on God people—na the same fire wey we get when we receive Holy Spirit. That tongue of fire na heavenly language of power. 

How God great reach say He give us language of fire! This fire na our own to use. Make we talk with boldness and release the weapon of fire from our mouth!

REFLECTION QUESTIONS 

-         How I don feel the Word of God as fire wey dey burn for my life before? 

-         How I fit control my mouth make my words dey give life, no be wahala? 

-         I dey speak God Word over my situation every day, or I dey allow fear and silence hold me? 

-         How I fit grow to use this “language of fire” (Holy Spirit words) for prayer and spiritual fight?

PRAYER: Papa God, thank You for Your Word wey dey burn like fire for my mouth. Make my mouth dey talk only wetin go match Your will. Teach me to use my words as holy weapon—to scatter stronghold, win battle, and release Your blessing for every area of my life. I pray in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
