PIDGIN GET OUT OF EGYPT

Exodus 3:8 “I don kom diliver dem from Egypt pipol, den karry dem go anoda land wey dey good and big. Di land wey milk and honey dey flow for di aria where Kanaan, Hit, Amor, Periz, Hiv and Jebus pipol dey stay.

 

“Get out of Egypt” don become wetin pipo dey talk everyday, mostly Christians, but e don spread go everywhere. But I dey doubt say everybody sabi wetin e mean or understand wetin e stand for. 

The story wey say “get or come out of Egypt” dey inside Exodus 3, 12, and 15. The phrase "get out of Egypt" wey dem dey use today for Christian talk na sign or spiritual message, e no just mean one place. Egypt na where Israelites dey as slave for many years. Until God use Moses carry dem comot for Egypt give dem freedom. 

To comot for Egypt mean say make person leave wahala, suffer, or life of sin. E dey show say God fit give person freedom, breakthrough, or new beginning. 

If we wan apply “get out of Egypt” for our life, e mean to choose to leave any wahala wey dey hold you, dey make you no happy, or dey carry you far from God's plan for your life. 

Wetin be Egypt for you? First, you gats know and talk wetin dey hold you back spiritually, emotionally, or mentally. 

E fit be fear, vex, no dey forgive, gossip, addiction, or bad relationship. 

E fit be any habit or mindset wey dey stop you from moving forward. 

Our Egypt fit be anything wey dey like cage or bondage or dey stop us from dey free and get peace. 

For Exodus 12:31-33, Pharaoh call Moses and Aaron, tell dem “Make una wake, comot from my people—you and the Israelites. Go worship the Lord as una ask.” Pharaoh still beg dem make dem pray for am as dem dey go. The Egyptians rush carry Israelites comot for Egypt, talk say “If una no comot, all of us go die.” 

From this matter, we fit talk say Egypt na double-edged sword. Sword wey free one person but fit destroy another. 

Israelites comot for Egypt, but Egyptians die! 

If we comot from wahala or any gbege, the wahala go end or die or that demon wey dey disturb person go die too. E take Israel long time to comot Egypt, with Moses dey go meet Pharaoh, Pharaoh dey refuse, Moses no gree. Life na struggle, e dey pain, but we gats fight comot for every situation wey no dey glorify God or help us. 

Fight comot from that thing wey be your Egypt. Even small-small step fit help you comot quick, pass if you just siddon dey. God dey honor person wey wan move forward and Him go help you dey go, maybe e no easy, but e go sure pass as Romans 8:37 talk. 

Act with God Spirit because freedom waka dey need courage. 

To comot for Egypt na to leave bad habits or relationships. Make you forgive who don hurt you. Talk true instead make you gossip. Always try replace fear with faith. 

Sometimes we go wan go back Egypt, even Israelites try am when things enter wahala like Numbers 11:5 talk. But God get better thing ahead, e no dey for back. So hold this one for mind, focus on your improvement, no go back to old ways. 

Make you dey around pipo wey go ginger you make you go front, no go back. People wey go help you waka your new life. Live your life with purpose, use your gift help others. As God no just carry Israelites comot alone—e carry dem reach Promised Land, God fit do am for you too.

PRAYER: O Lord Jesus, I wan start afresh. I no wan go back to my old way. Help me make I dey go forward, even when e hard. Fill me with your Spirit, guide me every step I take. Thank You say you dey give me new beginning. Amen.
