PIDGIN GODLY INFLUENCER TWO!

1 Peter 2:12 “Make you live well for where people wey no believe dey, so that even if some people wan call you bad person, when dem see your good work, dem go give glory to God when Him come judge.”

 

We still dey talk about influencers! You dey influence people for your area? Who fit be influencer? Na who be influencer? How we dey influence people and why e important?

We no suppose dey hear man voice pass God voice, especially if man no dey hear God.

Now, we get more social and money influencers than godly or spiritual influencers. God create us, give us power, authority, and control over everything. When we follow Jesus, our authority strong pass because of Jesus name.

Life no come with manual, but 2 Timothy 3:16 talk say everything we need for life dey Bible. Paul talk say Bible get authority for everything—money, business, marriage, way to raise pikin, health, and others. Bible na God word, that na why e get power to teach us well

We no suppose carry ourselves waka or boast for our power, but make we carry Jesus according to 2 Corinthians 4:5. Na Christ give us chance and power to influence people well.

But satan dey use people skill and talent do bad things wey dey spoil world. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 talk say: 

“Even if our gospel dey hidden, e go still be hidden for people wey dey lost. Satan don blind their eye make dem no see gospel light of Christ, God image.” 

People no see gospel truth but dem dey accept satan lie well well.

Because of this kain influence, many good obodo law wey even unbeliver follow don lost meaning today. Influencers dey tell people wrong mata.

Example: some influencers dey tell women say dem get right control their body, fit abort pikin anyhow. Bible talk say God see every pikin for womb as person as Psalm 139:16 talk. Unfortunately, even some believers dey listen to that lie say better to abort than make pikin suffer.

Influence fit appear for many ways. As believers, we suppose want influence people well.

Some bad thing no go happen until correct influencer give person courage do am. Example: 2 Samuel 13 talk friendship between Amnon and Jonadab. That bad friendship make Amnon do bad thing to im sister Tamar. This one cause many wahala, killing, war, division for family and obodo. Na why 1 Corinthians 15:33 warn say,  “Bad company dey spoil good character.”  Jonadab na bad company.

Galatians 5:9 talk: “Small leaven dey spoil all dough.” 

Only one bad friend or influence fit spoil your spiritual life. So, dey careful as you choose your friends and people wey dey influence you, because e get power for your spirit and morals.

Make you be godly influencer!

-         Which part of your life you need make Bible guide you more to influence others well? 

-         Who be the people wey dey influence you? Dem dey help or spoil your spiritual growth? 

-         Which step you fit take today to be better godly influencer for your family, work, or community?

PRAYER: O God, abeg give me humility and wisdom to dey be godly influencer. Help me to live well with true purpose so that my words and works go bring You glory and make others find Your truth. Protect my heart and mind from bad influence. Put good people around me wey go encourage my faith. Make I always hear Your voice pass everything and represent Christ well for all I do. For Jesus name I pray, Amen.
