Reference point na that one wey dey fixed, wey you fit use take judge or know wetin dey go on. For life, na God be that correct reference point. E nor dey change. E character, e promise and e love dey the same. If we match our life with am, we go get clear head, peace and purpose.

Reference point fit be anything—idea, fact or even place wey help you measure or know how your life dey go.

For Bible side, reference point na Jesus Christ and God Word; them be the correct standard for how Christian suppose live. Bible talk say Jesus be the perfect reference point—original and final na for am, na im we suppose look and follow as example so our mind no go scatter. Bible sef na reference point, wey dey guide our spirit-mind, make us grow and change for better inside church and personal life.

If we shift our focus from God put for our wahala and problem, fear go enter. But as we take look Jesus as our reference point, na so we fit waka pass wahala. As Peter for Matthew 14:22-33 yanda, e waka for water as long as e dey look Jesus, e walk steady. But as e begin look wind and water, e start to sink.

Christian teaching dey always talk say, make we fix eye for Jesus as our main reference point, especially for tough times. Na Him example and srong mind be correct benchmark for life. Kingdom of God sef, na reference point wey go help us arrange our spiritual life.

Bible, God Word and Jesus, na dem be our reference points for everything wey concern life and godliness according to 2 Peter 1:3. Jesus Christ na ultimate reference point for faith, character and spiritual growth.

God nor dey change at all as Malachi 3:6 talk: “I the Lord nor dey change”. So, na Him we suppose use as our reference point every time. God steady nature make am correct anchor for this world wey dey change anyhow. Di Bible talk say Jesus Christ dey reliable forever—He be our anchor, e nor go change.

God Word na correct guide wey sure as them put am for Psalm 119:105: “Your word na lamp for my foot and light for my path”). The Scripture dey show road, give direction and set moral compass. As 2 Timothy 3:16–17 talk, Bible na main measure for truth and lifestyle.

Christ na only Cornerstone as Ephesians 2:20 talk. That time, cornerstone na foundation and reference for building. Spiritually, Christ be our cornerstone. So, as Hebrews 12:2 yan, make we fix our eye for Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

So the koko be say: who or wetin be your reference point for life? Every time, na something or person dey guide and direct our move. Na the thing wey dey show us correct way to follow righteousness.

Anywhere we dey, anything life bring, make we allow God Word and Spirit dey control us as our reference point, so we go always win!
