PIDGIN SPIRITUAL AND PERSONAL POISON 4!

Ephesians 4:31-32 “ Una must stop to get bad belle; to dey vex; kworel and to dey tok bad-bad word. 32Make una dey good to one anoda; dey sorry for pipol and dey forgive each oda, just as God forgive una thru Christ.

 

We don see say poison no good for anybody. We no go purposely chop poisonous thing for body just because. So why we go get bad character and behaviour wey no follow Bible or no dey glorify Baba God? 

We suppose dey sharp to watch out for spiritual and personal poison as Bible talk for 1 Peter 5:8. 

Some poison dey quick work; dem fit damage person quick whether we talk or no, others dey chop us small small till e finish us. E good make we check ourselves often, especially our spiritual life as Haggai 1:5 talk. E good to stop small to think about our character, attitude, behaviour, and belief to sure say we no stray from God way. 

Slothfulness, as Proverbs 19:15 talk, na killer—e kill our dreams, passion and vision. Dem call am "deep sleep" because e show how careless we fit be when we slothful. Make Proverbs 6:6 be our motto: make we get hustle spirit and no carry last mindset. 

Sometimes, even if we no suppose, greed fit show for our life as Exodus 20:17 talk. Some people go end like Rehoboam wey lose everything because of selfish wish and greed for power as 1 Chronicles 10:1-19 talk. Society dey break down because poison of greed, wey be say everybody wan keep for imself as Proverbs 21:25-26 talk. 

Unforgiveness na poison we dey intentionally drink because we never allow Christ run our affairs. Many people don spoil their health and life because dem pass dose of bitterness, grudges, and unforgiveness. Matthew 18:23-35 show say unforgiveness dey hold us for prison wey we lock for other people with malice and hatred. 

All of us get “Peter” for inside wey dey ask if we must forgive and how many times. Jesus no talk if, but say make we forgive 70×70 times, that be 4,900 times, about 13.5 times everyday. We no fit offend person that many times, so e mean say forgiveness no suppose get limit. Colossians 3:13 talk say make we bear with one another and quick to release hurt, grudges, and evil mind. 

Your anger no dey help you or anybody? E no dey solve problem? E no dey change the person wey you vex for? E no dey make your joy and peace increase? No! 

Forgiveness no easy. E fit hard, e fit bring struggle, and e fit show true attitude for both wey dey forgive and wey dey forgiven. But once you open door for forgiveness, results dey amazing. 

The only solution for anger na forgiveness! E start when we decide say we go obey God and do ourselves favour by forgiving. 

These poison easy to take but hard to overcome, but God fit help us conquer all and heal every bruise dem cause. 

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

- Which kind spiritual or personal poison I dey struggle with wey fit dey spoil my relationship with God and others? 

- How often I dey check my character, attitude, and behaviour to make sure say I dey waka for God path? 

- Wetin I fit do for daily life to get strong hustle spirit and comot slothfulness? 

- I ready to forgive others anytime like Christ teach? How forgiveness fit change my life and relationship? 

PRAYER: Papa God, I come beg You, help me see and overcome spiritual and personal poison for my life. Teach me to dey alert and watch myself, make I dey waka for Your way. Make my heart soft to forgive like You forgive me and heal my wounds and free me to live life for Jesus name. Amen.
