Na only God suppose dey for Him place, make we no mix am with any other thing or person. But for today, no be like that. Anywhere you look, you go see people wey dey call themselves Christians dey do, talk, or handle things wey no bad, but e no dey godly, mean say their trust no dey complete for God.

We dey see people wey call themselves Christians—Catholic, Protestant, Methodist, Pentecostal, Anglican, anyhow—wey dey waka from one side go another, dey mix some kind things wey dem feel say na wetin dem need for their faith. Dem dey pick how dem go do their faith, but true true, na lie.

Verse thirteen talk say, “Fear the Lord your God, serve am only, swear for Him name.” This instruction wey God give for Old Testament still dey for New Testament, e mean say the matter no change.

You no fit talk say you dey fear God, come still divide the way you gbege am, show respect, or honour am with another thing.

Bible clear for God power and say no mix am! For Exodus 20:3—Ten Commandments—God talk say make we no get another god join am. But we dey do am, abi? Exodus 20:4 follow add, “No carve image for yourself… no bow or worship am.” This commandment show say God want make we dey loyal only to am.

See as e be, Christians dey mix, Muslims dey talk say dem be half Christian, Catholics say dem dey half Muslim too. Even big pastors and people wey we dey respect, some dey tip hand inside Judaism. E shock me, because dem suppose sabi better.

Psalm 81:9 talk where God stand for this mixture matter! “No dey worship foreign god or bow for god wey you no know.”

Bible no get wahala or two talk – make we no mix worship of God with another god, idol, or any other spiritual matter. Na syncretism dem call am—Bible condemn am as spiritual adultery, idolatry, and say na big wahala wey dey make God vex.

If you dey follow another thing join God, abeg come back, follow only Him.

Isaiah 45:22-23 talk am: “Make una turn to Me, make una receive salvation, all the people for earth; na Me be God, no other… Before Me, every knee go bow, every mouth go swear.” E show say only God na the true God! Other things no fit do wetin God fit do. Na only God fit save.
