PIDGIN UNAUTHORIZED GATHERING!

and na mi still kreate di soja wey dey use di weapon kill pipol. 17 But nor-tin wey pipol use against una, go fit distroy una; una go ovakom evribody wey dey akuiz una.

Dis na wetin pipol wey dey serve Mi dey enjoy and I go defend and make dem win.” Na so God tok!

 

Unauthorised gathering dey happen everywhere for this world today. People dey gather for different reasons — some e good for small people, e bad for others; some e dey peaceful, some e like fight. Whether e good or bad, every gathering get him pros and cons. 

Gathering fit dey unauthorized if e no get the correct approval from the people wey suppose give permission, or if na illegal for law. 

For today’s world, unauthorized gathering mean say people come together without permission from government, police, community heads, or property owner. For plenty countries, you must collect approval before you fit do protest or large meeting. If you no get am, e go count as illegal. Some places like factory, army barracks, or security zone no dey allow people to gather at all — na for safety and security. 

For Bible, “unauthorized” get deeper meaning. Na any action or assembly wey no dey under God’s authority or wey go against wetin Him command. 

- For Leviticus 10:1–2, Nadab and Abihu carry “strange fire” go give God wey He no send them — na so fire consume them. 

- For 2 Samuel 6:6–7, Uzzah touch the Ark without permission — and God strike am die. 

Na warning be this: good intention no dey cover disobedience** when God don talk wetin e want. 

God talk say no person or group wey gather against you go succeed. No matter the kind weapon or plan wey dem form, if e no be God wey send am, e no go stand. 

For Hebrews 10:25, the Bible say make we no stop to gather as believers. For Acts 2, 4, 6, the early church gather to pray, worship, encourage themselves, and learn God Word. Na God approve dis kain gathering. 

Any gathering wey dey go against wetin God want or Him leadership na unauthorized, and God no dey happy with am.

For Numbers 16, Korah and him people gather against Moses and Aaron, dey challenge the people wey God put for leadership. That kind gathering no get God blessing — na rebellion, and God punish them well-well.

For Genesis 11, people gather build Tower of Babel to reach heaven. Dem no follow God instruction wey say make dem spread for earth. Even though dem no fight, na pride make dem do am, and God scatter the gathering.

Today, we dey see plenty unauthorized religious gatherings — people dey gather worship idols or preach wetin no follow Bible. Just like the Golden Calf for Exodus 32, dem dey do wetin God no send, and e dey cause wahala.

God don talk say any unauthorized gathering wey rise against you go scatter! Dem no go stand!

REFLECTION QUESTIONS 

-         I don ever join gathering wey no follow Bible truth? Wetin I learn from am? 

-         Wetin be the danger of gathering wey no get Bible foundation or godly leader? 

-         Wetin dey draw me go the gatherings wey I dey attend? Na to help my spiritual life or to spoil am? 

-         God dey tell me make I commot from any gathering wey no please Him?
