CHILD-FRIENDLY ACHAN’S SIN!
Memory Verse “Be sure your sin will find you out.” Numbers 32:23
Achan’s sin was like opening
a can of worms—a big mess that caused trouble for everyone! God had told the
Israelites not to take anything from the city of Jericho after the battle. But
Achan didn’t listen. He secretly took a shiny robe, some silver, and gold, and
hid them under his tent.
What Can We Learn?
- Sin affects everyone, not
just the person who does it.
- You can’t hide anything
from God—He sees everything!
- Obeying God is always the
best choice, even when no one is watching.
-Greed and disobedience can
lead to trouble.
- When we do something
wrong, we should confess and ask God to forgive us.
This verse reminds us that God
sees everything, even the things we try to hide.
