CHILD-FRIENDLY EQUAL SHARE!
1 Samuel 30:21–25
Memory Verse “Do not forget
to do good and to share with others.” Hebrews 13:16
Have you ever had to share
something—like snacks, toys, or time—and felt like someone didn’t deserve it
because they didn’t help? That’s a common feeling, but the Bible teaches us
something different: God wants us to share fairly and kindly, even with those
who didn’t do the same work.
In the Bible, King David
made a rule that everyone should get an equal share—even those who stayed
behind to guard the supplies while others went to fight. He said, “All will
share alike.” That means everyone’s job matters, and everyone should be treated
fairly.
What Can We Learn?
- Sharing is caring, and
it’s also God’s way.
- Everyone’s role is
important—even if it’s behind the scenes.
- God wants us to be generous,
not selfish.
- When we share fairly, we
show God’s love to others.
This verse reminds us that sharing
is part of doing good, and it makes God happy!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. Have you ever shared
something with someone who didn’t help you get it? How did it feel?
2. Why do you think God
wants us to share equally?
3. Can you think of a time
someone shared with you even when you didn’t expect it?
4. How can you practice fair
sharing at home, school, or church?
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You
for teaching me to share. Help me to be fair and kind, even when it’s hard. Show
me how to treat everyone with love and respect. Let my heart be generous, just
like Yours. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Shalom
