CHILD-FRIENDLY THE GOODNESS OF GOD!

Memory Verse: "Praise the Lord, my soul! Don’t forget all the good things He has done for you."_ Psalm 103:2

What Is God’s Goodness?

God’s goodness means He is always kind, loving, and full of mercy. He helps us, forgives us, and loves us every single day!

King David wrote Psalm 103 to thank God for His blessings. He reminds us that God is not just someone we praise—He’s the one who keeps everything going! David invites everyone to join in praising God.

What the Bible Says

- God forgives all our mistakes.

- He heals us when we’re sick.

- He saves us and gives us new life.

- He gives us good things and makes us strong.

- He is kind, patient, and full of love.

Even when life is hard, God is still good. His love is bigger than the sky and lasts forever!

A Song to Remember

From “The Goodness of God” by CeCe Winans:

> “I love You, Lord, because Your mercy never stops.

> Every day, You hold me in Your hands.

> From when I wake up until I go to sleep,

> I will sing about Your goodness.”

Let’s Thank God

God’s kindness is fresh every day (Lamentations 3:22–23).

Even in hard times, God holds us safe every morning and night.

Mark 10:18 says only God is truly good.

Psalm 145:5 tells us to think and talk about His goodness all the time.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

- Do I try to praise God every day, or only when I feel like it?

- Can I still see God’s goodness even when things are hard?

- How has God’s mercy and love helped me lately?

- How can I bless God with my heart, my words, and my actions?

PRAYER: Lord God, thank You for being the great Jehovah.

I praise You for Your goodness, mercy, and grace because You are always faithful.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Shalom!
