CHILD-FRIENDLY KNOW THE SOURCE!
Memory Verse “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” 1 John 4:1
Have you ever heard someone
say something about God and wondered if it was really true? Sometimes, people
say things that sound good, but they might not come from God. That’s why it’s
important to know the source—to check if what you hear is really from God or
just someone’s idea.
In the Bible, the tribe of Dan
didn’t listen to God’s instructions. Instead, they followed a priest who wasn’t
doing what God wanted. They ended up making mistakes because they didn’t check
if the message was truly from God.
What Can We Learn?
- Don’t believe everything
you hear—always check if it matches what the Bible says.
- Ask God for wisdom to know
what is true and what is not.
- Test every message by
comparing it with God’s Word.
- God wants us to listen to
Him first, not just to people.
This verse reminds us to
always check if something is really from God.
