CHILD-FRIENDLY MOTIVATION!
1 Corinthians 15:58
“Always give yourselves
fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is
not in vain.”
Memory Verse “In all the
work you are given, do the best you can. Work as though you are working for the
Lord, not any earthly master. Colossians 3:23 ERV
Motivation is what makes you
want to do something or try your best. It’s the “push” inside you that helps
you get up, work hard at school, help others, or keep going even when things
are tough.
There are lots of people who
give motivational speeches, but as Christians, our best motivation comes from God
and His Word. The Bible tells us to do our best, not just to get rewards or
praise from people, but to make God happy.
What Can We Learn?
- God wants us to work hard
and do our best for Him.
- Our motivation should come
from wanting to please God, not just to impress others.
- When we feel tired or
discouraged, we can ask God to help us keep going.
This verse reminds us that God
sees our hard work, and it matters to Him!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. What helps you get
started when you don’t feel like doing something?
2. Who or what motivates you
to do your best?
3. How can you remember to
do things for God, not just for people?
4. What is one thing you
want to do for God this week?
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You
for giving me the strength to do my best. Help me to remember that I am working
for You, not just for others. Give me the motivation to keep going, even when
things are hard. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Shalom
