CHILD-FRIENFLY ITS NOT OVER!
Memory verse: Micah 7:8 “Though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”
Have you ever said, “It’s
over!” when something went wrong? Maybe you lost a game or made a big mistake.
Guess what? With God, it’s never really over!
Samson was a strong man in
the Bible. His strength came from God, and his long hair was a sign of his
promise to God. But Samson made mistakes. He broke God’s rules and told Delilah
his secret. She cut his hair, and Samson lost his strength. The enemies caught
him. It looked like everything was over for Samson.
But guess what? Samson’s
hair grew back! And God gave him strength one more time. Samson prayed, and God
used him again.
This shows us something
important:
✅ Even when we mess up, God can still forgive
us and use us if we turn back to Him.
✅ Failure is not the end. God always has a
plan!
The Bible says in Micah 7:8,
“Even though I fall, I will rise again.”
And in Philippians 1:6, “God
will finish the good work He started in you.”
So remember: It’s not over
until God says it’s over!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. What mistake have I made
that I need to ask God to forgive?
2. Do I believe God can
still use me even when I mess up?
3. How can I trust God more
this week?
4. Who can I encourage today
to remind them that God still loves them?
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You
for loving me even when I make mistakes. Help me to trust You and never give
up. Teach me to obey You and use my life for Your glory. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Shalom
