Make Yu nor forget all di good tins wey E don do! 3 Na-im dey forgive pipol dia sins and dey heal difren-difren diziz. 4 E save awa life from di pit kon crown us with mesi and en love wey nor dey fail. 5 E satisfy awa life with good tins and even as wi still dey yong, awa life strong like eagle own. 6 God dey do wetin dey good and dey judge well for doz wey dem dey opress. 7 God show en good works to Moses and en faithfulnes to Israel pipol. 8 God dey sorry and show mesi to pipol well-well; E nor dey kwik vex and en love for us nor dey fail. 9 E nor dey always akuiz pipol or vex tey for dem. 10 E nor dey use as awa sin big rish, take ponish us. 11 As di sky high from di eart, na so too en love for pipol wey dey fear and serve am, big rish. 12 Just as east far from west, na so too E make awa sins far from us. 13 Just as papa dey love and pity for en shidren, na so too, God dey good and dey sorry for doz wey dey fear am. 14 Bikos E know how E take kreate us kon remember sey na dust wi bi. 15 Awa days for dis world bi like grass; just as flower dey shine kon die, na so too wi dey shine, but small time wi go die. 16 Wons heavy breeze blow, di flower dey die komot like sey e nor dey der before. 17 But God love go dey forever for pipol wey dey fear am.

En salvashon go dey for dia shidren-shidren; 18 doz wey dey faithful to en covenant and dey obey en kommand! 19 God don make heaven en throne and na from der E dey rule evritin. 20 So angels, make una praiz God: Di strong angels wey dey obey am and listin to all en kommand. 21 Yes! Make una praiz God, all di strong angels wey dey serve and do wetin E wont! 22 Evritin wey God kreate, make una praiz God for evriwhere for en kingdom. Make my soul praiz God!

 

 

God Goodness Na Him Character! 

Psalm 103 na one sweet praise song wey King David sing. E start with how David dey thank God for wetin God don do for am personally, then e begin praise God for who God be. E remind us say God no just deserve praise, na Him dey give us life and strength. David end the Psalm by calling everybody and everything make dem join am praise God. So we too suppose dey praise God.

You dey praise God when? 

Na only when you feel like? Or na every time? 

How you dey describe God? Na through wetin Bible talk? Or wetin God don do for your life? Or how you dey see am dey work?

We suppose dey sing about God goodness every time, no stop. 

For verse 3, David talk say God show Moses who Him be for Exodus 34:6 – say God merciful, kind, slow to vex, full of love and truth.

Time to think about how good God don be to you. 

Verses 11–13 talk say God love reach heaven from earth – meaning e too big for our head to understand. 

God love us like papa wey dey care for im pikin. 

Even when life hard, God still dey hold us for hand.

CeCe Winans sing am well for her song “The Goodness of God”: 

> “I love You, Lord. Your mercy never fail me. 

> All my days, I dey your hand. 

> From when I wake up till I sleep, 

> I go sing of the goodness of God. 

> All my life, You don faithful. 

> All my life, You don good. 

> With every breath wey I fit take, 

> I go sing of the goodness of God.”

Lamentations 3:22–23 remind us say God mercy dey new every morning. 

Even when wahala full ground, one thing sure – God dey hold us steady every day.

Mark 10:18 talk say na only God good. 

So make your song this season be: “God, You too good. You too good to me.”

Take time reflect on God goodness: 

Bless God with your soul, your money, your family, and your praise.

David sabi say God love no dey finish – na why e dey always praise God. 

Make we be like David – make we burst into praise for all the better things God don do.

God mercy na from Him goodness. 

Even if God no show mercy, e still good. But because of Him mercy, e dey show us special goodness.

Psalm 84:11 talk say God no dey withhold any good thing from people wey dey walk with am.

We too blessed because we serve one God wey too good. 

Exodus 34:6 talk am again: “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in goodness and truth.”_

God goodness dey everywhere: 

E dey protect, provide, preserve, and sustain us.

Psalm 145:5 say make we dey meditate and talk about God goodness.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

- I dey praise God every day or only when I feel like?

- I dey see God goodness even when life hard?

- How God don show me mercy and love recently?

- Wetin I fit do practically to bless God with my soul, my words, and my actions?

PRAYER: Baba God, thank You say You be Jehovah. I praise You for Your goodness, mercy, and grace. You dey always faithful. In Jesus name, Amen.
