When e come to life, na so we dey think about wetin good and wetin bad. Things wey matter and no matter. Wetin get value and no get any value. Life na one or the other: do or nor do, fit or nor fit, yes or no, life or death. Na only one of these two fit stand.

How much money go do you? How much go too much? How much go too small? How much you need to fit survive every day, week, month or year? How much you need to get before you go talk say you don arrive, say you don make am or say you rich? How dem dey take measure person own worth? Or how much you think say you be? How much your life worth?

How much? How much e be? Na the kind question we dey ask when we wan buy something.

For Bible, we see three times wey money show face well. The first na Joseph story, wey im brothers sell am for small change: dem sell am for 20 pieces of silver for Genesis 37. We no know wetin dem use that money do, but e nor make their life better pass Joseph own. If not, dem nor go come Egypt later come buy food, and dem nor go end up dey bow to Joseph. So how much be 20 pieces of silver for dem? 

Wetin the money change for their life? And wetin e change for Joseph life? Because from Joseph story we see say God raise am. Dem share the 20 silver, e nor reach anything compared to Joseph greatness. If dem share that money, how far e go for eleven brothers?

Next na Samson for Judges 16. That story still dey somehow. No be about all him wahala, but make we talk about Delilah wey collect 5,500 silver coins from five kings. That kain money nor go make am millionaire. Wetin thing 5,500 go fit buy? which person life reach that amount? Your own life nko? You go sell your brother, your sister, your padi because of 5,500 pounds? Wetin e fit do? Today, e nor big at all. But na wetin Samson life worth to Delilah and those kings. Dem pay that kind money to run evil. Dem pay am to fight Samson, finish person wey be threat to dem. 

Delilah collect the money, why? Maybe to make herself better, to make people respect am, because e big that time. Maybe to show say she get pass other women. Na wetin make her collect that kind money we no know.

Now, make we talk about Jesus Christ. Na only true love make am gree, and Judas sell am for only 30 pieces of silver. Na just 30 silver dem use value the precious blood of Jesus. Judas, one of Jesus best padi, sell am for Matthew 26:47-56.

Even for church now, we see say some people just dey go church, dem nor believe well, nor dey born-again. Na so Judas be. Na im kind still dey church today. Judas dey among Jesus crew, na trustee, na leader, yet e betray Jesus. 

Jesus know wetin e dey do? Yes, Jesus sabi am. But He still allow am so that Bible go come true. He allow Judas dey there.

But na just 30 pieces of silver? How much your own life worth? Think am. Na nothing! Because na the precious blood of Jesus pay for your life. So, nothing wey you go fit pay cover life.

No matter how we dey think am for our mind, make we remember say Jesus blood carry big value pass all the money for this world. No be money fit buy your soul. Na Jesus pay the price so you fit dey free. Enjoy am.

Anytime you wan waka leave God, anytime you wan do your own, think: how much your life really worth? So you go sabi the true cost for your action.
