PIDGIN IT NEVA TOO LATE TO START AGAIN

Job 17:10-11 “But if all of dem kom follow mi stand, I nor go even si one wey wise. 11 My plans don fail; my days go soon end and I nor get hope again.

 

For life, sometimes we get to start from scratch, and no dey e eva too late to start again. One sure thing for life be say everybody go chop failure for something someday. Life nor dey always be win win. Setback, loss, sometimes defeat go happen—e fit even weigh you down.

Defeat fit show for our life by wahala or person hand, or fit be say we use our hand cause am. When those kind thing happen, some people go just give up, others go gree try until dem make am, and some go start afresh.

For Luke 7:11-15, the widow for Nain dey go bury her only pikin, she dey cry, pain dey her body as she don lose another family member, but as she dey go, Jesus see am, come pity her. 

She fit reason say, “Dis Jesus sabi wetin my eyes don see?” But Jesus touch the coffin come raise the pikin. Imagine wetin she think as she see her pikin waka again. Na so Mary and Martha take feel when dem see Lazarus come out from grave for John 11:38-44.

For God, e neva too late! 

E nor late for the thief wey dey cross for Luke 23:43 too.

E neva late at all to start back with God! 

No ever get doubt say God dey see your pain! Na Him love dey push am to help us. E fit nor quick as we want, but because Him dey see our pain, e go show for time wey go make sense.

Sometimes, na pain dey make us change, as Proverbs 20:30 talk. So abeg, drop regret matter, start afresh.

Regret nor dey change anything! E just dey make person look back. Regret na like say you dey look for mirror for back as you dey drive for bendy road. Person dey jam wahala if all im eye na for the past—e nor go see better opportunity wey dey front to help start again.

Na so everything dey start—from dream to idea, then action. No go drop your dream or idea yet!

Anything wey you dey think to start again—make you start am!

Your spiritual life? Start again!

Wahala to pay debt? Start again!

Time and relationship wey don scatter? Start again!

Sometimes you go feel say you too old, or too late, or your own don pass, so you go come stop, instead start again. But Proverbs 4:7 say you go get sense to help you begin afresh, because God neva drop you.

Abraham start again plenti times before e settle for Canaan—Genesis 11-12.

Moses start again for Midian—Exodus 2:11-15.

If God put dream for your heart, e go show you step to make am real.

See Job, e lose everything, but grace help am start again.

If you ask God for new dream, vision, direction, strength, wisdom and grace to start again, e go answer you. E neva too late to start afresh, no gree stop yourself from moving again.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS 

- You don ever gree start something again after e spoil? How that decision affect your life?

- Na regret dey hold you back or na faith push you forward?

- Which time for your life you start afresh, wetin help you succeed?

- Wetin you go do differently as you start again today, with help from God?
