4Afta sometaim, Samson kon love one woman wey en name na Delilah, wey dey stay for Sorek Valley. 5All di five rulers for Filistia go meet Delilah kon sey, “Make yu deceive Samson, so dat e go tell yu wetin make am dey strong and how dem fit take stop am. Den yu go find way take tie am with rope well-well. Afta evritin, each of us go give yu 1,000 one hundred silva.”

Den Samson ansa am, “If yu plait my hair into seven part kon use peg take make am tit, I go dey weak well-well.” So wen Samson dey sleep, Delilah kon plait di hair into seven part. 14Den e tit am with di peg.

E kon shaut again, “Samson! Filistia pipol don kon katch yu o-o!” So Samson wake-up, remove di peg, den luz en hair.

15Den Delilah vex kon tell am, “Why yu dey tell mi sey, ‘I love yu’ and yu nor fit trust mi kon tell mi yor sekret? Yu don fool mi three times naw and yu neva still tell mi wetin make yu dey strong!” 16Delilah kontinue to dey tok and komplain until Samson kon taya for en wahala, 17so e tell am di trut at last.

23Filistia rulers dey do party, offa sakrifice and dey praiz dia god wey bi Dagon kon dey sey, “Awa god don give us viktory ova Samson wey bi awa enemy!”

25Many of dem don drink by naw, so dem sey, “Make una bring Samson kom out make e kon make us laf!” So dem bring am kom out from di prison and e stand between di two pila wey dey support di building. Dem kon dey play with am, so dat e go make dem laf.

26Den Samson tell di boy wey hold en hand sey, “Make yu put my two hand for di pila wey hold di temple, bikos I won rest my body.” 27By dis time, di temple don already full with pipol. All di five Filistia rulers dey der and about 3,000 men and wimen dey der dey wosh Samson as e dey make dem laf. 28Den Samson pray give God sey, “Oga God wey get pawa, remember mi again. My God! Abeg make Yu give mi pawa one more time. Make I pay Filistia pipol back for my eye wey dem blind.” 29Samson put en two hand for di pila wey hold di temple kon push am, 30den e pray sey, “My God, make Yu allow mi die with Filistia pipol wey bi my enemies.” Den di temple fall skata for di five rulers and di pipol head. Di pipol wey Samson kill wen e dey die, many pass di ones wey e kill wen e dey alive.

31Afta, en brodas and family kon karry en dead body. Dem take am go beri between Zorah and Eshtaol, where dem beri en papa Manoah put. Samson lead Israel pipol for twenty years.

 

 

You don ever ask yourself where you dey go? You dey exactly where God want you dey? You dey do wetin God want make you do? Some people dey do wetin dem think dem suppose do, some dey follow wetin God talk, others dey do wetin their body tell dem to do.

Samson no dey where e suppose dey. E choose to dey with one ashawo for Gaza, and that one put am for danger from Philistines wey dey wait to kill am. You dey safe because you dey where God want you dey, or you dey exposed because you stray? Samson no dey safe because e no dey where e suppose dey. If you no dey where you suppose dey, no protection dey for you.

Philistines gather quietly just dey wait to catch Samson for ambush. Their silence na bad plan—but silence fit be time to hear God well well. Learning to gerrit quiet and hear God na the key. Sometimes na for silence God message go come. Dem gather dey wait all night. Who dey gather against you? Why dem dey gather? How many sabi gerrit alone for at least 20 minutes without TV, radio or music sound? Not plenty! Learn to stay quiet when e reach time to dey quiet because na when you quiet, na then you fit hear wetin you suppose hear when you dey where you suppose dey.

We no go sabi wetin we dey do till we dey for God presence and we beg for God presence. Samson no serious with im strength. Samson no serious with God's order. Samson full of pride, lust and world matter. You too nko?

Even so, Samson cry to God for strength one last time and tear the temple, kill many enemy, but still die with them. God fit restore strength and purpose after failure.

No matter where you dey, God no finish with you. Like Samson, if you humble and seek God, God fit still use you well well.
