PIDGIN MINDSET!

2 Corinthians 10:5 “pipol wey dey karry body up; doz wey nor wont make odas know God and as wi dey do like dis, pipol dey obey Christ.

 

Bible no dey use today-English word “mindset,” but e still dey talk well-well about de state and direction wey your mind dey run—na wetin we dey call mindset. Bible see de mind like de control-room of life; wetin you full am go form your character, choices, relationship and destiny, just like Proverbs 4:23 talk: “Guide your heart well, because na frominside na e dey control where you go reach.” 

MINDSET na de way devil dey take dey do us strong play for our head, e pip us to dey tink, talk and do wetin God no want. 

Plenty of us done allow one small pain or one big wahala to glue im picture for our mind; nobody fit change how we feel or see anything again. 

Dis mindset make us dey gree with devil 99% of time—any plan wey no gree with Bible na devil programme. 

We must dey renew our heart everyday. Romans 12:2 say, “No go copy dis world style, make your mind change by God Word.” Na when you change your mindset to God-mata inner renewal go start and remain. 

Christ-centred mindset mean say na Spirit go dey help you change all the worldly programming wey dey your head, replace am with God truth—no be fake positive thinking wey far from Bible. Ephesians 4:23 still yan say make we renew our mind. Na wrong mindset dey hold plenty people—even believer—wey make dem no move forward. Some get old sense wey say: “E must be like dis first before e fit work.” Dey judge God power with man ability. Ephesians 3:20 tell us say God fit do anything, but na according to de power wey dey inside us—so if your mindset dey off, God fit dey limited for your life.

One big story wey show mindset well na David and Goliath for 1 Samuel 17. All Israelites fear giant Philistine Goliath like god; dem see am as impossible—except David. David mindset be “faith over fear!” While others dey count giant tall, David dey count God muscle and de wins way e done see before. 

All David confidence bin come from past tings—how God help am kill lion and bear when e dey watch sheep. E no see himself as small boy wey no get armour; e see himself as God container of victory. 

If you face any gbege for office, school, or family, copy David style: No look the problem size; look God size. Remember wetin you don win before—wey dey tell you say you fit win again. Waka jeje with faith, even if people dey laugh you. 

Philippians 4:8 sef say make we dey think only wetin dey true, pure, good and worty praise—dat kine mindset go grow us spiritually and push wrong mindset comot. 

Colossians 3:2 command make we fix our mind on tins above, not on tins for earth. Human eye like earthly show, but we must train oursef sharp-sharp to fix eye on invisible tins wey last forever. 

We fit do am by prayer steady, Bible reading, and by toking Scriptures everiday.

- I dey look di problem or I dey look di power of God? 

- Any bad pattern of tink-tink wey I need give God today? 

- Which thought or attitude I need change so my mind go fit stand gidigba with God Word? 

- How my present mindset dey affect my action, relationship and my waka with God?

PRAYER: Heavenly Papa, help me no see wahala as wahala, make me see am as chance to trust You wella. Give me mindset wey go show Your truth, not my own limitation. For Jesus name, Amen.
